Ah, I see you're now on to the Simply Making Stuff Up portion of the discussion.
We have absolutely no information, at all, on how the community "as a whole" feels. We don't even have reliable statistics as to how many people voted for the award, let alone how many of those actually had distinct IP addresses; online voting is notoriously open to gaming.
And the "disagreements" are a series of trolls. There is simply no honest argument that EVE is not substantially broken.

If you can't train a useful weapon system in game, you can at least troll the forums I guess.
Lets touch on the more amusing parts for now.
1: Apparently claiming that the European Gaming awards are fixed, based on absolutely nothing, is less "making something up" than looking at the long list of awards that CCP has won... including this one of course. 
2: Nobody has denied that EVE (like any other game) has issues and could use some polish. In particular large fleet lag needs a fix badly (and of course, this continues to be a non-existant focus for CCP). Fortunately, the rest of EVE functions pretty well. I suppose for the people who play a game in which fleet fights are the primary advertising point it's easy to ignore the other parts of them game which they don't need to play which makes sense.
3: Oh, and as to this gem...

This is my main... which happens to be focused on industry... which also has better kill board stats than you... a fair portion of which were attained in 1000+ fleet fights with MM during the MAX campaign... when your alliance lost it's space... and we won it back for you.
