Wonder how this skews data about customer satisfaction. For the life of my I can't understand why no one has taken that "new features = new players" mindset apart at CCP. They get new players largely on the strength of word of mouth. Word of mouth comes from existing players. Hurp.

Nah, they won't unsticky the thread, because we're keeping it bumped for people to see and thus vote for. But i bet they lock it once the winners of the awards have been announced.

Bump, thanks for unstickying it, thats like a slap in the face.....how bout you guys give us a legit response? Coward much? Even if you guys can't/don't fix the issues soon, some sort of official response/communication would be nice and would quell some of the anger present in the Eve community.

An inablitly for the computers to handle an important aspect of play for many players (even 10% is a huge chunk of people to routinely run in to game breaking aspects in their desired area of play) is just beyond any acceptable notion of quality
Almost, 8 months sense the problems first hit a critical mode. Certainly with a comitment to new game frontiers they had earned some patience but after 3 or four months I'd expect fixing or providing game mechanic work arounds . Having that many people affected would command a "stop the presses" responses, even to rethink and rebuild the very mechanics of sov gain if necessary and pulling large teams from other projects to make emergency responses.

I've been watching this thread for a few days now and did not really feel the need to respond or react to it. Since the unstickying, which I feel is a gigantic slap in the face for the playerbase and all the "fanbois" of eve, I've changed my mind and decided to comment. (Not that anyone gives a **** about my opinion, least of all CCP. I've played on and off since 2003, Dominion and Tyrannis were a joke compared to all other expansions.)
First off: Yes, I registered and voted. No, I did not vote for Eve. Yes, I'm off playing World of Tanks like most of my corporation right now. Yes, I pay with PLEXes. No, I don't really have the intention to leave eve, you can't have my damn stuff. While I am ****ed off, I'm not permanently quitting. I honestly don't know if I have the willpower or sufficient social life to never come back to this game.
Yes. I'm a lowsec player. Yes, I'm ****ing sick of the fact that CCP doesn't give a flying **** about lowsec and won't fix anything for eighteen months. Yes, I've tried PI, hated it, and given the **** up on it. I don't need carpal tunnel syndrome from a ****ing game. Please, make a "select all" and "select extraction time" function. Somewhere or somehow. PI was great in its initial form on sisi, what it became was ****. And yes, I alphatest all the time on singularity; I waste my time on it, since I believe the developers of this game give a **** about the players.

CCP does not have **** on Blizzard in respect to PvE (**** off I play WoW, it's become bad, but it's a billion times better than Eve's PvE).

tl;dr:
CCP: fix your game, stop ****ing off your playerbase. You're not going to succeed in your stupid console venture. No console player will pay an ADDITIONAL monthly fee to their already ******ed manufacturer imposed fee. Especially not for a game with permanent loss.
Players: Give CCP a last chance. I've loved and hated eve for SEVEN years. I'm ****ed, but this game is like a drug. You only get clean when you absolutely HAVE to.

This just in, anyone who tries to buy/sell in a market hub is in violation of rule 17 because it is costing CCP more money to run jita on its own node!
So much so, is jita not set to avoid by default on autopilot?
Were agents and missions not removed from jita due to players making it the biggest market hub in eve?

I quit the game years ago despite being an avid PvPer, after being actually insulted by customer service repeatedly. They said one account doesn't matter in the long run; and it doesn't. But watching people slowly leak away from Eve over the years while the team works on other games and ignores the playerbase... The CCP guys always seemed to me like some drunk jerks fresh out of college, with no guidance, rather than any sort of professional company. I'm laughing at CCP right now. Hard.
*This does not represent my own opinion, but it's worth it because it is the opinion of many players that have left eve permanently because of the unprofessional attitude of those that run the game.
She was a loyal customer until she was treated badly. $400 over 2 years. Imagine that over 1000 customers.

Just wanted to say, pretty much everyone I've grown to call friends in Eve have already quit. I'm one of the last of my social group that bother playing anymore, and I'm only keeping going under the amount of ISK savings I have -- and I can't even make any more because the ways in which I previously did are next to impossible now with the myriad of problems plaguing the game since Tyrannis.
So if you really think I'm going to vote for you in any competition other than "biggest popularity nosedive in the gaming industry" then you can **** off.
