Wow, this is really quite desperate.
OK here goes:
My old corp fell apart after an infiltration and theft by an unknown (at the time) 3rd party. I did admittadly overreact to this and got well and truly blastered about it on the forums. Which is fair enough.
My month in FBS....well, for all their glizty talk and slogans, Hyper would be better suited to running a sweat shop in china. It's a farming operation, nothing more. PVP is kept to a minimum and serves to appease the non-carebears.
Their PVP potential is considable, but they were quite low on experienced FCs when I joined. So even in the first week I was asked to take out fleets and run home defence. The members enjoyed the battles and particually the fact that we *never lost*.
So I unofficially became the default PVP FC. Corp officers would specifically ask me to to run fleets. During that time, corp PVP only ever went badly when I wasn't online, or the couple of times someone else took the FC seat.
The standards and rules he keeps banging on about? I honestly don't have a clue. He never actually felt the need to tell me what rules I'd broken before he sent the one line, 'please leave the corp' email.
There was always a lot of aggro about scan reports not being posted to the site quickly enough or correctly. But it certainly wasn't just me who struggled with the amateur website, which only loads a page once for every 6 attempts.
What led to me leaving the corp was an incident with a corp officer during a low sec battle that was going very badly. He was sat safely on a wormhole while everyone else was fighting for thier lives. I asked him over TS why he wasn't engaging and he launched into an unhinged and abusive screaming fit.
He really made a huge **** of himself and the whole corp was stunned. But he is the site admin, crucial to the corp and very cozy with Hyper.
Later on that day I got my marching orders and over half the PVP fleet privatley contacted me and annouced they'd be following shortly.
So we decided to stick together and try something new. I figured I was well within my rights to invite anyone I liked to into a new corp, so I mailed some of the more experienced pew hounds.
And theft? Oh please.
From what I hear a few caldari ships have just been reported missing. It's been at least 3 days since I left the FBS home system. And I'm no corp thief.
I've been sent one accusatory email and I offered up my full api info. The offer stands.
Is it for me to speculate on what happened to the missing ships? Maybe not.
But the corp leaders so far gone to extreme lengths to assassinate my character, so it wouldn't surprise me if they were behind it.
Or it's just as likley some other member took advantage of the recent chaos.
Personally, I've never even been in ANTRS. But I did buy this toon in 2008 with my (now) scan alt, Dipsodic.
The sale thread is still on eve search.
Anyway, sorry for the essay. My forum warrior days are officially over with this post. Blowing up spaceships is a damn sight more fun
