I have gone through the help and instruction files, but I can not find an answer to this question.
Is it possible to set up a single extractor to route materials to 3 different industry facilities at the same time? I know you can link multiple extractors to 1 facility, but I need to do the opposite.
I can link 1 extractor to 3 facilities, or I can link 1 extractor to a storage facility and then link that to 3 facilities. However, when I go to set up the "routes" to actually supply the facilities, it will only let me set up a route to a single industry facility.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You can set up a route to multiple processors from the storage. Just route the stack of goods to each factory in turn. Then check your routes window to make sure it lists all 3 routes separately. It only looks like you can only have one route at a time because of the poor UI design. you can also double check the animated hash marks in the link to make sure it shows goods going to and from the processor.

Route from Extractor to Storage
Then route from storage to all your production facilities.
Same thing as you do with X extractors and X processors.. feed everything through your storage ( aka launch pad )

Unless that single extractor has one mother of an extract rate, you'll find that only 1-2 of the processors will get anything to work with. Now if you have multiple extractors dumping into storage(launchpad)....
From the Products tab, just select the material and Create Route. (easiest route if you've got some of the material on hand)
Alternately, from the Routes tab, select an incoming line and Create Route to a processor. (Scroll through all the inbound, transiting and outbound routes to get what you need)
Either one will set up a full output route to your processor.
Now if you were silly enough to route directly from extractor to processor, you could route portions of the output to different facilities. (Not recommended due to lost materials) Hmm. If one had multiple storage sites, the extractor output could be split that way as well.
Just how much material IS that extractor pumping out?
