I'm just looking for an explanation as to why the Armageddon which is a tier 1 battleship has 1000 more base powergrid than the tempest and megathron which are both tier 2 battleships which are meant to be the pride and power of their races engineering and navies.
Also why does the raven only have 500 more powergrid than the scorpion?
Anyway just a couple things I've been wondering about lately as I'm nearing the stage where I'll be investing in my frist BS.

In saying that though the mega and tempest primarily gun boats jusdging by slot lay out and hardpoint allocations. Also saying lasers take up lots of powergrid other guns seem to take up a considerable amount aswell.
