800's are perfectly fine as it is imo.

And 1400's 15% ~! more damage ?
Sounds like a bit much. Their damage is quite ok, they just have gotten a role asigned thats not really popular.
But by all means test out anything you can come up with, just dont do overdo the love, we dont want to end up with crying apoc pilots or something.
nah, geddons do still much more damage then tempest 
only long range megathrons will still be ******

Don't you think that is strange? Strictly talking about balance, a tier 1 bs doing more damage than a tier 2 bs? 
well, geddons are the best ship ingame for damage dealing
never said that lasers are balanced at all
