It would have imho been better practice on your part to simply buy back the shares at price paid, send the ISK to the shareholders you knew (since you were paying them dividends) and be done with it, rather than requesting that shareholders request a refund and if shareholders just happen to not immediately notice that you went out of business you'd just hold on to the ISK.
LLSE doesn't seem to have a record of transactions anymore (poor business practice as well imho), so at this point you are home free if you choose to be. Not that these ISK amounts really matter but the principle does.

Edited by: Krythas on 17/12/2010 09:19:22 Sorry for the lack of quoting, but as an llse broker I know I record all transactions, i'd be most surprised if cista didn't do the same.
I hate sending stuff from my phone hard to type

Edit: spelling

Once the shares market is locked, it's really between the ceo and the shareholders. They can do as Ash Donai suggests if they so wish.
Records of transactions are kept because of the principle that if a transaction takes place outside of LLSE then we are not obliged to handle a later resale. This prohibits manipulations of numbers of shares from a ceo. ----------------------- "Signatures" chatroom / LLSE Stock Market |
