What music do you listen to while you PvP or PvE? If you Mine, you are not human. You are simply a Robot.
I listen to the Star Wars soundtrack and other videogamey music.

I mine, and I'm not a robot. I usually chat on vent while browsing forums with the in-game browser. I find that mining is a waste of time for making ISK. I do it mainly to produce more ammo for mission running etc.

Listening to really calm music gives pvp a nice surrealistic touch.

I watch TV on my laptop unless I'm in a fleet, in which case I get drunk and yell at large collidable objects.

I listen to one of several things: EVE Radio, classical music or film scores. Sometimes gives EVE a 'Bladerunner' feel. Space noir ftw.

It depends on the activity.
If I am traveling on autopilot on a trade run in my orca I'll listen to something relaxing.
PvE usually will be classical.
No PvP for me so nothing in that category

Pro tip: If you zoom in on an asteroid you're mining, you hear a "crackling" sound like you're actually mining!
Just noticed this the other day!

Edited by: Antihrist Pripravnik on 05/08/2010 13:46:17 In fleet PvP there's sadly no room for music, because I have to listen to the FC. In solo PvP (yes, solo PvP exists, but barely) it's Juno Reactor (Masters of the Universe, Biot Messiah, Hotaka, Zwara,... etc.) In PvE usually EVE's default music... Call me a freak, but it's nice and relaxing
edit: I found somewhere on the net "Stellar Shadows" that was originally in EVE's Jukebox i have it in the playlist ever since.

In PvP, solo or fleet: no music, very slight game sounds, and FC is there's one and I'm not FCing.
In PvE: EVE Music, EVE Radio, Zappa Radio, Bluemars/Cryosleep ____________________

Nice.
I also tend to have some ambient-ish techno on in the background when in fleet. For smaller gangs where comms is a bit clearer I'll go for something more hectic.
When doing PvE I'll either be browsing forums or watching TV / movies, unprobeable mission running ships in low sec are nice for this.

Mainly listen to documentaries and lectures, plus some Coast to Coast AM when it's on.
Only get the music going when i'm drinking, and i find this game is intolerable after about 8 beer. Usually switch over to a FPS or something at that point.
My deepest sympathies. Prof. Tarantula, Esq. |
