Iosef Stalin

I've been on a long hiatus from EVE and would like to get the baboon back on my back.
I'm Caldari, crazy, and want to be a Crow pilot. Gods know there are posts and walkthroughs and **** and everything else on this subject or whichever which Google can find me but reading someone's two cents on it does not help a crazy mofo who likes to get his hands dirty much.
I'd like to run crazy with some of you. Thirty million ISK. If you show me how it's done, equipment, tactics, Hell you can even blow me to Hell if that's what you need to do and I say do it because I'm tired of sitting on the bench.
I was thinking the usual suspects: webbing and all that, missiles and microwarp drive.
I'm trained to fly a Crow more or less; I need this and that and I'll tell you where I'm at.
So I'm Iosef Stalin. Knock on my canopy. I'll be drinking cane sugar glass Coke from Mexico.

Sign yourself up for an agony unleashed pvp class, costs 10m isk and teaches you all the basics (and advanced if you want to pay more) stuff of pvp. Havnt taken one myself, but i heard good things about them.

That or eve university. They roam through low sec, in training ops.

join a pirate corp or pvp corp (look in the recruitment section) and work with an experienced interceptor pilot to really learn the art of interceptors.
And don't listen to people who say things like 'don't fly x, it is crap'
Eve is a game. Fly what you want (and can afford to lose) and have fun.

It's more fun flying a ship that doesn't die to T1 mining frigates. ___________________

Maybe if you stop flying it like a taranis you'll stop losing it to t1 mining frigates.

You're kidding, right?
Please, do show me how it's done. Keeping someone outside scram / web range in a Crow and doing any amount of decent damage is close to impossible. Don't be idiotic.
You are more than welcome to prove me wrong ingame. I'll bring a T1 frigate and beat your Crow to a pulp with it and you can try and "kite me" (hahaha). ___________________

LOL.
Problem with the Crow is that it can't really tackle other fast ships well. It gets eaten up on dps, no matter how you fit it and usually slower than it's counterpart. Though it can still tackle bigger slower moving ships, you don't always know what you're going up against.

The crow isn't that terrible, while you are limited in target selection more so than say a ranis. The nice thing about the crow is since you can kite at 20k and other brawler intys are usually slower than you, you can normally break away from a fight you can't win. Just don't hit orbit at 20k like most crow pilots do and you'll be fine.
I've popped about 10 vexors in a crow, the vexor fittings range from LAWL fits to cookie cutter.
