Hello everyone!
I'm a player thats in the military and in my spare time I like to play around a bit on EVE, I haven't done much for awhile and have only dipped into FW while a rook. I've introduced plenty of people to the game, and in the time going, they have all overlapped me considerably on skills.
For example: My father joined the game 3 months after me, and he has double my SP (and I admit to having to break from the game for about 4 months due to commitments). I've noticed everyone I've introduced has 2 respecs (which I never got) so I didnt dare dabble in respec'ing for one thing at the time.
My toon is going on 2 years old and I cannot break this 1254 SP/hr barrier that I have infront of me. No matter the research I do on remapping, nothing works. Is my account bugged? Everyone I play around has jsut about the same attributes as I do, but they go 2200SP/hr+. I have a 2 year old account now that has only 10mil SP as opposed to some friends who have 20 - 25 mil.
Before buying a bunch of implants Im wondering if that will even help this predicament, and if so, which implants?
My current ATTs are all in the high teens, balancing between 19/18/19/17/19 Any suggestions?

Those are well balanced skills. If you add +3 implants to those you can train most skills at the same rate. That is the way I do it just because I would rather advance slower but be able to train anything I want at close to the same speed.
You may also have an attribute remap available to you. So if you use EVE Mon and plan out a skill set for the next year based on the same two or maybe 3 attributes you can use that remap to align your attribute to match those skills. This will allow you a year to train at an optimal speed in that plan, but if you waver off of it it will hurt. A year+ later you can then respec and then hit the opposite end of the skill tree. For example boosting Perc/Will/Int for pvp skills - Charisma/Int for social & leadership skills/ and so on. Check out the skill discussion board for more info. I am not a skill grinder ( I guess it could be called that) I have a jack of all trades mentality and my skill point total has suffered from that and not logging in to change skills.
Otherwise list what learning skills you have trained and to what level and if you currently have any attribute modifying implants currently in your clone.
EDIT: YOU can take the advanced learnings to 4 also. A little grind, but if you want to see that high number for SP/hr then that is needed.

There is an implant for each attribute so which implants you want depends on what skills you are training. I would suggest you to get a full set of +4s or maybe even +5s if you have the money. This assuming you live in Empire. If you don't have a steady income (ingame) I don't suggest using full sets in 0.0. Personally I use two implants on my 0.0 clones (usually mem & int and perc & will as pairs).
And can I just say.. 1200 SP/hr is really really REALLY low rate. You should get 2000 without even maxing the attributes for the skill you are training. With maxed attributes and plus +4s you can get about 2500 SP/hr.

Oh, and unless you're definitely going to train something that uses it, at LEAST use your remap and crater your charisma. Put those points into something useful.
Alternatively, consider firing up EveMon, coming up with a ~year long training plan, and then using its "optimize attributes" function to come up with an ideal remap. Or, if you want to really maximize sp/hr, decide on two stats to spike (15/9), and then come up with a one-year training plan to take full advantage of that. --------------- Faction-Militia:Player-Alliance::Newbie-corp:Player-corp |

Could you just put your pilot on eveboard.com so we know exactly what we're dealing with here ? Oh, missed that post made by an alt char, where you say you have Learning 5, and 4+2 in specific learnings going on 4+3.
You actually have 19.8/18.7/19.8/17.6/19.8 effective attributes, the BEST training speed you can get (with the pair of 19.8) would be 1782 SP/hour, and the worst 1617 SP/hour. I have absolutely no idea where that 1254 SP/hour you're quoting comes from. Also, the sum of your "before learning 5" attributes is 87, and with the 39 base, then 6*5=30 from learnings, that's 18 extra from implants... so you have, what, a mixed set of 3x +3s and 2x +4s ? I hope the +4s are INT and PER...
I'd say just go for 4+4 for everything (except maybe charisma, which you can leave at 4+3), then pump up basic per and basic int to L5.

You should have 1 respec available (2 is only for brand new characters), but after you use your last one, exactly 1 year later you get a new one (they don't accumulate) - so don;t be afraid to use it!
