I know it is powered down.
I know the corporation that owns it has probably left or is leaving Xetic.
And I know the level of trash-talk is about to go through the roof.
But I'm currently returning from a rather fun excursion into the middile of Xetic territory where my Stealth-Tempest (!?) had a small argument with the POS in PMM-66. And won!
In the space of 60 mins I reckon I must have caused about 100mil of damage. Total structure loss was...
2 Moon Harvester 1s
2 Silos
1 Reactor
1 Ship Maintenance Array
And a couple of other things I forget the names of. So yeah, I was aiming for infrastructure damage and not a lot else. I think I succeeded.
Now, the reason I am posting is not the fact that I was able to attack a defenceless POS. Any fool can do that. It's the fact that I flew, by myelf, 30+ jumps through enemy territory in a rather poorly fitted out Tempest without Xetic once getting the hump.
I may have to return in something with a bit more firepower. See if they wake up or not.

hehe.. some people just REALLY REALLY wanted to build them and then worked out that its not much fun to maintain by themselves. :)

I guess Evolution made you stupider than me.
As I said, the POS attack wasn't the thing I was posting about. It was my ability to get in and out of the heart of Xetic space without being challenged.

I bet I can get to the arse-end of cache. In a badger. With no instas. And stick a ****in' secure can saying 'Xetic woz 'ere!' at the gate. Doesn't make me great though.

I did think of taking a ecure can with but couldn't find any. And it's worth mentioning the area was CRAWLIGN with Xetic peeps. Just none of them did a damn thing about me being there (except for a few indies which ran away rather fast).

Going in and out of XETIC space is like walking in and out of ur local corner store, nothing special. Again the doing 100mil worth of damage is the only real accomplishment if u can call it that, a better idea would have been to un-anchor their entire pos with a group of indies and tow it back to curse like we did to a POS like 2 weeks ago, but i guess simply flying around XETIC space is excitement enough for some people
