1) offline all of your guns/scrams/neuts/webs
2) Purchase, anchor, and online lots of hardeners. (if this is a large tower)
3) Take a quick look at the corp and find some members, try to get a good idea of their main TZ and if they can field a cap fleet. Short stront your tower to something stupid, like 4.5hrs. Unless you plan on some help from friends or a merc corp, might as well **** these dudes off as much as possible if they actually follow through.
4) If step three is successful and they can't muster a new fleet, find friends who have Basi's or carriers. Rep and re-stront with something like 15 hours.

Nothing really to add to the other people in this thread - firstly, assess the threat to see if it really is genuine. If you feel it is, remove anything you couldn't bare to lose, use the money you're not spending on the ransom either on extra offensive modules to put in their place or on hiring mercs a capital fleet to defend your stuff (or both! But make sure your PoS won't fire on the mercs ). Batten down the hatches, tighten your buttocks, spit in your enemy's eye and tell him you had fun slamming his wife yesterday. This will not do me any favours with all my buddies at Veto but it is far better to die gloriously than wimp out and pay a ransom.
If the worst comes to the worst, and your PoS still looks like it's screwed - give Cry Havoc an anonymous tip, sit back and watch as hilarity (hopefully) ensues. ----- Andreus Ixiris CEO, Mixed Metaphor

Originally by: Disastro Personally, I think they are trying to bluff money out of you. If they wanted your moon bad enough they would have just gone and reinforced it already. They would not have bothered with the extortion mail.
As mentioned earlier. Take out everything of value including the moon goo now while you can.
This ^^.
Cry Havoc are busy being butthurt atm anyway. With their titans and supers busy I wouldnt worry to much. As suggested if they wanted it, it would be taken by now.

90% of the time, ransoms will never go good for you if you pay the ransom: (1) They can always attack after the ransom regardless if you paid and (2) It will likely just make others just want to ransom you for the free isk as well.
You might as well do what the others said and prepare for a fight. ____________________________________________ When going to a party with wine, women, and song. Always ascertain the vintage of the first two.
