Originally by: Rmage Gemmell You organized and planned it for DT, you have lots of known alts in gallente so if you indeed wanted a fight out of frogs instead of a chest beating thread, you could have done so.
We had guys from MDP as part of the battleship gang who I assume were the ones repairing and onlining the POS guns, so there should have been enough advance warning in this regard. I assumed that gallentes would jump to any chance to hinder me, seeing how much I used to get death threats and pedo accusations from their side (since they are all mature and take this game non-seriously according to their own word).
Anyway, we did get a fight when we probed out their safe spot (they lost one Tempest earlier) and sent Lachesis as tackle. They had 4 battleships (or was it more) and some fast tackle, we had two battleships, lachesis and four drakes. They tried to run and one guy ended up tackled. Then they returned in unorganised fashion to die. Is that our fault as well?

Now you are just trying to play the world's smallest violine; death threats ... please, nobody takes that sort of crap seriously but everyone petitions it anyway to grief the raging moron who made them.
As for MDP, i have no ideea who they are, but there was no information about this before going down after stront cycle. I normally would not go as far as to say that you wanted it this way, but your chest-beating posting history certainly gives credence to this interpretation.
PS: This it he 3rd time i'm telling you in this thread, but Villore has no bunker.

Translation = You didnt go on forums to wave a big red flag because Gallentes would have certainly put their operation details out for everyone to read and you guys are just cowards who dont want to fight, unlike us who are pvp g0ds.
MDP fleet actually came to local during early morning hours when we were shooting onlined guns and only thing they did was to wave my corpse and make comments about necrophilia.
Hell, I seem to recall we got asked what are we doing in Villore and we told in all honesty that we are desrroying a militia pos here. But on hindsight, I assume you would have wanted our CEO to send a memo out on public circulation about this to make absolutely crystal clear to everyone what was happening.

Neah dude, us frogs are the real losers here and i don't think anybody is disputing this. Here are some of our failures the way i see them : - we don't automatically read the mind of every CEO and director of every corp in militia. - we don't recognize local troll from real intel, especially when coming from 'helpull' ppl like yourself, long term friends of teh frogs. - some of the frogs in this thread still don't know what MDP is. - we don't capitalize on e-publicity and glorify our e-peen for whoring on capital kills in Tama - or stealing capital kills loot. - we can't even pay back the squids for camping Villore with camping Nourv, it's quite embarassing. - we don't get gagged by GM's on a daily basis for our local smack, i am told that you are at the 2nd gag today. - we lose small industrial pos with no defence to squids despite the 'information' being out amongst squids; our fault that we can't read draketrain corp chat, are not on their coms or simply CBA about it around DT. No activity around DT at all is no excuse.
LE: another utter failure, i forgot to add my rank to be clearly visible ... there we go.

Not quite. Those accusations have been going on a long time and started when Caldari were taking systems in VV/Placid. Also, after my return to game (after two month break) first three gallentes I came across called me (in this order): exploiter, pedophile and dog**** (Val should remember, he was the one using the last term).

If you believe that these allegations are malicious, feel free to petition CCP about it. On a personal level, having witnessed your local 'banter' including the emorage you had yesterday after losing a ****fit Hookbill and getting gagged by GM's twice, i'm inclined to believe you are just a drama queen playing the world's smallest violine.
PS: This thread also helped in forming the above mentioned opinion.

Then you fail to understand the history of the conflict and reasons why there is such hostility in the air in this front despite us fighting over nothing of importance. You do realise Val and me used to be in good terms, if not outright "buddies". But I quess past is something one should not pay attention in your mind.
Also, didnt lose hookbill yesterday (it was two days ago, which again puts doubt on your accusations) despite my best attempts to remember it. I did put one as bait for Arazu yesterday who promptly got killed because few warrior II's wont chew up properly fitted hookbill.

I don't keep track of who has what type of personal relations with who else in FW, i play internet spaceships not internet Dallas, though this thread comes dangerously close. Might have been 2d ago for you, might be 1d ago for me, the Earth is round you know. All i know is that you lost it, you raged, you got gagged twice, and it was a ****fit.
I've been in FW for 10 months now, and in that time i think i have formulated an independent opinion about you and some of the other pervs dudes based on encounters with your ex-corp, so pardon me if i don't believe you. :)

Edited by: X Gallentius on 21/08/2010 13:17:47 It gets worse. Damar regularly takes bands of young and impressionable Caldari militia pilots out on roams to the lesser traveled areas of Placid in the wee hours of after dt. These gangs of young men (and some women too!) do one minor at a time - over and over and over again.
We have noticed an increase in "capped" minors throughout Gallente low sec lately. It's, quite frankly, disgusting to see, but ccp refuses to do anything about it.

Confirming that if Damar doesn't see the funny side in this, he is utterly devoid of humour.
Actually, I used to occasionally fly with Damar and didn't really mind him, but between the posting with internet-rank and the general touchy weirdness of his posts I'm a little worried that he's gone utterly off the deep end.
Still, well done on shooting people in Villore, Caldari folks.

This thread brings good old times to my mind.
Gallente smacks on forums how it is fail post facts about what happened, because gallente did nothing, except lost something, but it does not matter because they DO NOT CARE. They did not want that POS anyway. Pos was medium pos, and yes, Bad Balance do not have standings to setup new one, but who cares, it was gallente who lost something so it does not matter !

Totally not interested in all the nonsense in this thread but 2 points I will pick up on :
1) MDP no longer exists, so any "mdp fleet" you may be referring to is more likely just a fleet made up of a few different corps.
2) (see quote) so if I bring a fleet to villore you will fight us? ... I will gladly bring one there every day so we can all have some fun, but i'm pretty sure by day 2 / 3? of u docking up and doing nothing but smack talk, I will get bored with this endeavor. Honestly if i bring it will you fight? or shall I not waste my time? Don't believe the hype! |

You seemed to have sizable number on one of the days we plexed in Hirri. I figured I just need to bring equal numbers. Now, if you cannot organise it daily, it's not really my problem.
I'll be more than happy to **** on your lolplaying efforts (see IGS) in regards to whole occupancy thing, not because it gives me anything but simply because it annoys you.

MDP ceased to exist some time ago, as Tekitha stated. If you're going to smack, it is important that you have current data, otherwise it enforces the point that you do not know what you are speaking about. Whatever that fleet was, it wasn't an MDP one.
As for the fight that we could have had in Hirri, my apologies for not being online at that time to fight you, but I do have a job, as many of us do, as well as other real life commitments and we see EVE as a "game" that we play "for fun", rather than our sole purpose.
Still, if you want to arrange a fight, we'll be more than happy to participate. Just let us know a date and time, and what ship classes or other parameters you wish to enforce. Logically, it is in our interest to keep to these rules because we want to keep fighting because we enjoy it. It's not in our interest to double-cross you, because we then wouldn't get another fight of that type. And if you betray us, then it will demonstrate that you don't want to fight on an equal footing. Of course, if you refuse to arrange a fleet fight altogether, hiding behind a shield of paranoia, we will know that you don't really want to fight. That's the downside of calling out your opposition, Damar. You now have to commit to a battle or lose face. As the saying goes: nut up or shut up.
As for the POS loss: Well, people put these things up and they get shot down all the time. I'm sure the owners of it can afford it (otherwise, why erect it in lowsec). It is a loss, true, but it's like everything else in PvP. If you can't afford to lose it, then don't risk it. This is why it is not worth gloating over individual kills, as the person who lost it can replace it (unless they were very stupid in investing everything they had in a single ship).

In fact, here's a proposition: we could start with T1 frigates, and work our way up with each successful organised 'bout', or just revert to cheap ships for a bit of a laugh.
This could easily become a regular event, and sate both our desires for combat. Unless, of course, you're just blowing smoke.

Well, pass on the concept to your CEO then. Do you have no input in corp matters at all? Or is that an excuse I hear?
Also, if you are at school, and have a job, how do you manage to logon so regularly? You can understand why people draw the conclusion that you do not have the same commitments, because you logon so routinely, and at various points across the day, for a number of hours (and I didn't call you an unemployed freeloader, that's what you interpreted from a vague implication). It isn't the logon pattern for someone with normal commitments. Also, if you are at school, I would strongly advise against mortgaging your future in order to achieve an arbitrary target in a game. You'll only end up losing in real life.
And the POS? Highsec or lowsec, the principle remains the same in any case.
