The covert op ship & clok, should make it able to:
-disapear from local when u turn it on. -cloak in warp. -cloak on jump-in as PRE-ExoDus.
more sugggestions is welcome.

Edited by: Ixianus on 24/12/2004 22:41:30 I agree with Sc0rpion. While being cloaked you should be able to use cargo scanners, ship setup scanners, and passive targeters. These have no offensive capacity, they would facilitate the use of covert ops frigates, as well as cloaking devices in general. If something like there were implemented the market for cloaking devices and covert ops ships would jump considerably me thinks.

i got urge to comment in here but then you might finaly start using klockes and im not going to reveel my secret Warpscrambling tecnique after dekloaking (insta warp scramble)
but im going to say, the fakt enemy dont know were you are and you know were enemy is, is enought to justify all penalties caused from cloake

It's quite easy to cloak after warping into a system. The trick is to click in a direction and as soon as you see the speed dial move hit F1, you can hit it earlier if you think you can time it right, your visible on overview for between 1/4 and 1/2 of a second, also a good idea not to click and move stright away, sit around for 10 or 15 seconds and the campers will get lazy. I camped the Misaba gate in R3-K7K for 3 days in my Buzzard(with covert ops cloak) to watch what m0o was doing and got past them several times.
