So I read this first http://wiki.eveonline.com/en/wiki/Multiple_clients
But I got stuck on step 4 of the Windows 7 part. I typed in what it suggested but nothing happened. Am I doing something wrong? Is there another way to install 2 clients on 1 computer?

Log in to the 2nd instance with your 2nd account. I have 3 accounts that run in 3 EVE windows. You dont put a 2nd client on the computer.

Hi Deanto,
First and foremost, the very first bit of information in that wiki states:
Quote: his document applies to the Apocrypha version of EVE ONLINE.
We are now in Tyrannis.
To run multiple clients (yes, even in Win7 like me), just simply launch another copy of the Eve executable and login with your other account. It's that easy.
Hope this helps!

I've always just clicked the Eve shortcut a second time to lauch the game again without going through all that in the Wiki without issue. Four plus years, WinXp and Win7.
I've never needed to use Evemon or junctions in the process either.

Right. Except I don't have another account yet. So I thought creating a new client would allow me to create a 2nd account? I logged into the current client but I don't see where I would create a new account from the client. Or do I download the setup file again and reinstall a new client and name it something else? Prefer not to do that tho

You just "purchase" a new account from here and logon as normal.
Edit: You can skip the download part, since you already have the client.

Click on the Account Management button on the login screen.
Or create a new account from this very website.

One other point, Deanto.
If you try to login with a paid account and a trial account, you will not be able to run two clients. An error message will popup, something about appreciating your enthusiasm or whatever.
This only works with two paid accounts.

Every time I try that, the first window crashes.
