The big question is how to get in the hands of new players? Access to a comprehensive guide like this could make a big difference to players trying or just starting the game.

Really good.
One remark though, at the R&D chapter the "perfect" ME level for BPO's. That is - as far as I know - outdated. In the past the waste was calculated per 1-run and then multiplied by the amounts of runs you did. That way you ended up with "perfect" BPO's. These days the amount the waste is calculated after considering all the runs, this way you usually don't end up with a "perfect" BPO -> the more runs you do, the more accurate the waste will get calculated. Maybe some industry guru can check this.

I am deeply impressed by your work - but..
I hate the name "ISK guide". It is not an ISK guide, it is a guide to EVE.
A close to perfect guide to EVE in fact, but it gets ruined by the name imo.
I see it as a disapointing way to get more downloads now that you made ISK stand for 'Industrial-Sized Knowledgebase'.

I also thought this was an money making guide, but was pleasantly surprised at what I found. Aside from the grammar, it is very well done and I see a helluva lot of hours were spent in producing it. You should be proud. A great guide for the new player.

Hi, we got a few questions related the plans changes.
"This has me confused, so you are doing another version of the ISK Guide with the premium chapters added? If so when? IÆm starting to wish I hadnÆt been so hasty in pre-ordering now."
The original plan was: we make the lite and a premium version.
The plan was:
Lite: The current content
Premium: The current content + a "pvp guide"
THE NEW PLAN:
Title: Industrial-Sized Knowledgebase [ISK] - Volume 1
Content: Introduction, mining, ship-fitting, PI, R&D, manufacturing, production, trade, agents, 0.0 life, exploration, starbases
Format: Digital download pdf & print
Pages: 400 approx
Availability: pdf (out now - update pending) - print (late-April 2011)
Price: pdf (free), print ($35 + mailing - pre-order discount available)
EVE version: Incursion 1.4.1
Title: Industrial-Sized Knowledgebase [ISK] - Volume 2
Content: PvP basics, PvP by system security, PvP by fleet roles, fitting for PvP, PvP by fleet size, tanking in theory and practise, weapons, EW, logistics, ship guides
Format: Digital download pdf & print
Pages: 400 approx
Availability: pdf (summer 2011) - print (summer 2011)
Price: pdf (<$30 - TBC), print ($35 approx - TBC)
EVE version: TBD
If we would stay with the original "premium" content version, then the printed guide would be more than 900 pages which is too big for release (and the printed version would be too expensive. )
If everything goes right, there should be a Dev Blog in a few days (i hope sooner than usual soonÖ)
