I don't know anyone who actually like the inventory over the old system but i'm sure this thread will show me some.
I have a app for my phone called Aura its also on iphones under another name, it gives me the option to search for items and it tells me where an item is even if its on a ship or in a can, why can't the inventory do this.
its sad that i use my phone to search for items when i'm logged in to eve and they spent all this time on the inventory. Inappropriate signature removed. Spitfire

Now that I've gotten used to it I don't find it annoying at all.
I have tons of random items, but I know what general order they are categorized in, I need guns?, quick scroll to whatever I want. Bet it doesn't take as long as checking my phone either. It's easy to check what is in your ship, you just click on the ship... As for cans, I don't find myself in the habit of leaving them in space long enough to forget what I had in them.
Just playing devil's advocate. I would rather CCP spend time on something else. For a community that thinks it is the MMO master race our inability to convert to a new inventory system that simply isn't that bad is astounding.

I have 13 chars over 300 ships and thousands of items in multiple cans so your suggestion does not work, using my phone is alot faster than the inventory hence my point.
I agree that ccp should be spending its time and everyones plex money on content but the inventory in in now so at least fix it i'm slowly getting used to it but have resorted to using my phone which is not how it should be.

It really is sad you use your phone to search, but don't blame that on the new inventory... GÇ£The best way to keep something bad from happening is to see it ahead of time, and you can't see it if you refuse to face the possibility.GÇ¥-á |

The new Inventory is pretty fiddly and I haven't fully got used to it yet. Sadly it's something you come to expect from CCP over the years. Needless changes which actually work to the detriment of the game.
One thing is for sure, Aura is a brilliant android app and the developer deserves a donation from anyone that enjoys it. (a¦á_a¦â) ~ http://getoutnastyface.blogspot.com/ ~ (a¦á_a¦â) |

WE (myself included) SCREAMED about it for 6 weeks on a huge Sisi Forum Thread that CCP acknowledged to having IGNORED utterly.
Says a lot, don't it ?
It's all about money somehow (delusional for sure), and the players matter not anymore. (sigh)

Oh let me see ecm, alt cyno chars, haulers, scanning, traders, leadership alt, my 3 super chars ,triage and logi, pos gunners chars being trained to sell etc etc by having a char for everything you can max it out quicker i also have the money and the hardware to get use from multiple accts. I can honestly say that i don't know anyone that has less than 2 i would say 4 is the norm with the people i play with. why do you assume that i never go out, ? how many chars i have does not affect how much i play infact it makes it easier for me,

There is still a little work left to do to make it work well for power users.
For the majority of the player base it is working very nicely indeed, but that doesn't mean the concerns of the hard core contingent should be ignored. To carve a successful niche for yourself in EVE you need to be able to out sell, out produce, out fight,-á out run, or out wit your competitors. If you can do none of the above, your only option is to complain on the forums that somehow you are at a disadvantage using the exact same tool set-áas the rest of the player base. |

Hi, my name is Cutter Isaacson, pleased to meet you. Now that we have been introduced I can tell you that I like the new inventory. It isn't perfect yet, but I still like it. I have now invalidated your whine. Move along please, thank you. Numbers of terminally stupid people seem to be on the increase, I suggest we have a real life Stupidageddon to rectify this issue. |
