well.. recently i tried out or pos refining platform, but to my dismay i found it really is just that... refining..
i soo hope that there will be a combined refining/recycling module out, as right now the corp hangar is filling and soon i have to pack everything into jetcans and shoot them to clean up space

one of my guys was reported able to recycle stuff at our POS, but he was only able to load one type of module in the refinery at a time. In other words, If you want to recycle 10 350mm railguns, and 10 small nosferatu, you load the 350s, run the refinery (3 hours), then load in the nosferatus, and run again, so even if it IS possible its certainly not very practical.

Edited by: Mrissa Easeah on 28/12/2004 22:32:52 So you CAN recycle at a POS?
I thought they'd have disabled it entirely as there's a major problem with volume with the results with a lot of modules.
Ore always refines to less m3 in minerals than what you put in.
Recycled modules very often refine to more volume than what you put in, so if you stuff that refining platform, where do the excess minerals beyond the cargo capacity of the refinery go? Nevermind if it works and discards the extra into space, -which- minerals would it discard into space? Megacyte, or Tritanium?
