I've recently found out that you could only train one skill at a time per account. I find this very suprising, and it has REALLY changed my mind about creating alts. What's the point of bothering with alts if it will take the same amount of time to train the skills? Also, does anyone know what each attribute does statistically? As in its exact bonuses?

the bonuses only affects training time of the skills. the time is divided by /first skill and /(second skill/2)
I think the alts are mainly for trying some out. It would not be great if you could train all of them. This would mean that everyone would actually controll 3 chars in game at the same time. you would have to switch between them all the time. Some do this in the game but there is not that much point of it now.

Having alts allows specialist chars, stuff like convoy hunters, explorers and miners can get away with a narrow skill set so once levelled don't generally require huge doses of training time.

A benefit of having specialized chars is that you can be very good in one area with that char, and not have as high a skill point total as a char that trains every skill in the game they can get.
You risk less when you die with lower total skill points, and your clones are cheaper.

very simply the following bonuses apply to the reduction of time needed for training the learning skills
If the attribute skill training is the Primary Attribute a 6.25% reduction in time needed to learn any skill with that attribute as its primary stat Secondary Attribute = 3.25% Learing skill = 2%
I understand the average for a stat is 10 but have not yet established the impact of stats lower than 10 on training. I will post once I have. Dol Dolgrathe Member of the 'X-Corp Confederation'
