I've funneled almost 1 trillion isk through F90OEX's 3rd party service since the creation of Ships Of Eve, and hes gone above and beyond what I expect from a 3rd Party and I see no reason why I shouldn't use him. If you have issues with him you could take into consideration that I've handled more isk of my own and other players than all but the top 3rd parties or alternatively you can just not take part.

The dedication and friendship shown by you to someone who did what he did is commendable to say the least, and if not for the shiney prize, i would not have entered.
Your track record of keeping your word counterbalanced his not keeping his word in the end end determined me to buy in.
I don't know if i'll win - chances are not, but if i do i also expect to not receive the prize, because his track record is tainted; he takes sides in deals and if he screwed over sfs for 180b only because he was a 'filthy pirate'.

On the contrary, I have no issues with people seeing what I've said as I have nothing to hide, nor do I mind people posting their opinions.
There are some important things for you to note;
- except for a couple of people who still haven't claimed their prizes from SOEV, everyone has recieved their prizes from my events.
- F90OEX 3rd parties all my events and often bankrolls them, without getting paid or making any isk.
- None of the items or ships in my events were stolen, and no-one has come forward to claim elsewise.
- Both F9 and I have lost more isk than the value of this current event multiple times over during my various events.
- Although I can't talk for F9, I couldn't care less about the isk as I run these events either to entertain or to have a creative outlet, or in situations like this and the last SOE as favours to people I like ingame.

I don't mean this as a hostile question, but what is the contingency plan should the lottery default due to a lack of interest? Will it close early with the prize drawn among the lots sold, or will there just be refunds all around?
The ship is pretty objectively overvalued at 35b (considering the last Adrestia sold had a buyout of 25b) and I'm just wondering where we go from here.

This is a horrible shame! imo SOE host some of the greatest events in eve with lotto's and fun makin the eve community better and brings together different people as well as the horrible side inside all of us when we say
"Tickets Bought GL Everyone" but deep down ur thinking "U Dumb Bastards i hope i win"
i think its a real shame how there is so little interest in what SOE is trying to bring us, little for their benefit and sometimes no benefit.

Advertising is the key. I only found out about the last lotto because i think T'amber posted in one of the other chat channels that i happened to be in. So the fact i found out about the lotto was a fluke in itself.
Perhaps the advertising of the event by the contestant could be a prerequisite for Lotto entry?
Tickets could be 10Mill each standard but if you Place a can at a stargate or a station advertising the details of the lotto you can then buy discounted tickets or so many free tickets?
obviously proving the existance of the "advert" may require a screenshot which would lead to someone having an overflowing email account... But its just a thought..
Perhaps a pre-lotto contest where 200 people can win free/discounted tickets to the lotto and/or a prize by placing advertising cans in High-traffic areas?
Its just a thought... but i think it might Help..

TLDR: dont run a 35 billion isk lotterys with 5 bill isk of prizes and expect to sell out

Limited edition ships are worth what people pay for them, I'd say this failed more due to the fact that It wasn't advertised at all. I'm pretty sure that most pilots are unaware of what happened with Hydra (me included).
The rarer frigates have quite often sold for this amount, although Frekis have dropped from 30bil to just below 25bil and infact the general market for rare ships seems to have almost disapeared. I have see some ridiculous 30bil Guardian Vexor sales tho... and the first Adrestia / Utu lotto went well.
