When I was a wee little noob, I made an adventure out to npc 0.0 to explore, do missions, and get to know the locals. I accumulated a lot of junk loot through doing missions and mining (lol). Eventually, I moved on and left everything in that hangar. It's been 4 years since I've been docked in that station.
Nowadays I once again live in the same region, only a few jumps away from that station system where I once played with my toys. I looked through my assets and realized that all of that junk is still there, collecting dust.
This makes me feel nostalgic. I want to go dock up in that station, and just sift through all the crap I left there 4 years ago. It reminds me of when I was an innocent noob. Perhaps, during my visit, I can get that feeling of innocence for a little while before I snap out of the nostalgic stupor. I want to try to remember how it felt to be a young noob in a big harsh world.
I may leave all of that junk in there untouched so that I can visit it all again another day.

Yeah, it can strike that little nostalgia spot when you find old stuff in old haunts. I had a mammoth parked in a sansha station for a long time. When I bought it, it was expensive to me, so I never trashed it, expecting to one day sell it and get my whole million isk back. LOL

*nods* I know the feeling well. After 7 years in EVE, I've got stuff stashed in every corner imaginable. Curse, Omist, Fountain, Delve, Outer Ring, Genesis....hell, I think I'm only missing the drone regions and Black Rise. My assets list is over 300 stations long, and much of it has been sitting where I bought it or mis-bought it.
I've got huge mineral stashes I've never bothered to cash in...forced to leave when forced out of a region or constellation. Several in Empire itself. Even one up in New Caldari that's interesting for the fact that it has more tritanium in it than a titan requires from my days of battleship manufacturing and sales.
Stuff piles up, some turns nostalgic, some turns into processor food. That's life in EVE.

I've stashed stuff where you people wouldn't believe. Ships in hull on fire off of a 100 AU safe spot. I've watched GSCs glitter in the dark near the Eve Gate. All that ... stuff will be lost in time, like a database... near Tuxford.
