All right first of all I'd like to thank everyone in advance for flaming me, ok just kidding.
Now I've been playing Eve for about 19 months now, only took a short break a couple of times, but unlike most people I choose to stay in a corp called
Deep Core Mining Inc. An NPC corp. Apparently this means griefers will shoot my ships and pod me when I venture outside of Empire space.
Yesterday I had to go into pf-346 on business, logged off to go eat dinner, when I logged back on 4s were camping the gate to orvolle, I scouted a bit,
and some pirate in local said they were FA and wouldn't shoot at me. So I thought I'd be fine since we'd been talking in local and I assumed they
were only there to kill pirates, of course as soon as I warped to gate and started approaching I got shot to pulp, barely managed to warp back out
with my pod :|
Now I expect this from pirates, but I am shocked by supposedly "honorable" alliances like NORAD and FA simply murdering anybody without giving any
thought to it, ok so I'm not in a player corporation, I once was and frankly I'm not interested in being in one with all the hassle grief wars, corp
thefts, politics and bull that's involved.
Hell the guy who shot me was the CEO of a NORAD corporation..
I have some screenshots if anyone can host them for me, but the purpose of this post is not just to whine about this. I want to hire an honorable
mercenery corporation to exact vengeance for me, I don't want them to apologize, I want them to suffer for all the innocents they've killed.
Please contact me if you're willing to kill these griefers for me. I'm quite wealthy from doing mining, refining and production in Empire, just because I don't
use guns doesn't mean people can just slaughter me or any other harmless innocents with impunity.

i'm sorry to be pointing this out. But if your entering what someone perceieves as their territoy, aren't you technically tresspassing? NORAD and FA are both closed alliances as far as i remember, so they'll kill anyone who enters their space.

Sorry dude your post does sound like a whine...
The reason Noob corp members are treated with such disdain in 0.0 is because of the persistent use of alts by pirates wether for scouting griefing haulers or flame postings. After 19 months you shouldn't be so naieve to assume you would be treated any differant to a potential pirate alt. Also PF-346 .... Look at the map dude going through there is tantermount to walking through baghdad waving a US flag and only conversing in english.
However that said most aliances do try to put on at least some semblance of decency so rather than burn your bridges of recompensation or respect from thoes involved in future why not try contacting the aliance or corps involved to register your complaint & seek recompence. You may not get what you want but its probably more likely to get it than starting a flame post.
Of course you should back that up with chat log captures and other corraborating info so you arn't dismissed as a whining noob trying his luck.
You may get lucky persuing this course now but its now pretty unlikely now you started this thread.

it's not claimed territory at all, i myself (as a former empire "pirate") is disgusted at how these so called "anti-pirate" alliance conduct in 0.0 space. they camp chokepoints into unclaimed space just like "pirates" and nuke whatever isn't in their special club like "pirates". i hate how these alliances close off parts of 0.0 to people who aren't in their little club.
i regularly hang around pf-346 and those surrounding systems. if you ever need a safe exit out of upper syndicate or an escort, get in touch with me.

it would cost alot more then that too declare war on a whole alliance like that. however for 200 mil a week i would be willing too camp their mining feilds for you and gank them as i find them. i have some good info on their stomping grounds and 300 insta jumps of there turf.. FA & Norad.

You should make your own corp. This has it's advantages, #1 People won't assume you're an alt as often., #2 You get to make your own corp logo, name, ticker, and get to play with corp things, like giving yourself a title. All for only 1.5 mil isk.

Because he is a carebear or an alt possibly both. I've been doing it solo in my own corp for 11 months now. Been to 0.0 and not been hassled nearly as much as I've seen NPC corp alts get hassled. Wound up doing some trading with some 0.0 corps and well I'm not a big name but I get around enough people have seen me some. I had an RL friend take up Eve and join my corp recently third member is my alt. No real player goes to 0.0 in a shuttle at the very least they take a Vigil or similar and a MWD.

I kill alts all the time in Stain, they come to our home and wake up dead if SE's pvpers see them. Pretty simple and is conceived as normal and fair, since alts are always used as scouts.
But when you say like "I'm not going to harm you, just warp to this gate and I'll escort you out" and then kill the guy you're stepping over the line. It's dishonourable and uncool.
But of course **** always happens, dno if FA do that stuff regularly or not (I'm leaning towards "not" ) but if they did that to me I can say with full honesty that I'd go into Fountain and have me a killing spree.

I haven't trained combat skills so I don't do agent missions or hunt npcs, that's why my standings are 0.0.
Some people prefer to stick with industry, without having to kill NPCs or other players, I'll hire my firepower thank you very much, I got more than enough orcslaying in EQ, don't see anything interesting about PVE in this game.
I'll contact the mercs in this thread ingame.

I watch them assembling a little fleet on the MAP in order to hunt my osprey with it's miner IIs. Sure that I will not show up for a fight. I want to mine - they want to fight. Time is on my side.
Sometimes I was looking for the chatter, but it seems, some people are glued to their safespots and found a way to play this game as a kind of 'local' clown.
The fact is : If someone claims some space - why can't I do the same and say : "All 0.0 belongs to Chico"
You can claim what you want.

I watch them assembling a little fleet on the MAP in order to hunt my osprey with it's miner IIs. Sure that I will not show up for a fight. I want to mine - they want to fight. Time is on my side.
Sometimes I was looking for the chatter, but it seems, some people are glued to their safespots and found a way to play this game as a kind of 'local' clown.
The fact is : If someone claims some space - why can't I do the same and say : "All 0.0 belongs to Chico"
You can claim what you want.

I'm not even going to PRETEND I was there or know what happened. What I will say is that Fendor is a pretty stand-up guy. I highly doubt that he would tell you you can pass and then kill you. If you could supply a chat-log of that, you may make a believer out of me. I know I would never do such a thing.
I also know that people in NPC corps and 0.0 security ratings tend to be the unfortunate victims of ganks simply because they tend to be pirate alt spies. If you were in an alliance, trying to protect your territory or hold a gate, you'd understand. It's just easier not to take chances.
To be honest, I would favor giving them a warning and sending them on their way. However, current game mechanics just don't support that style of gameplay. In the time it would take you to hold them in place and convo them, they could get intel on your entire gang and relay it to HQ if they are a pirate alt. It's simply easier to blow them up and then say "sorry for the loss". This is the nature of EVE in its current incarnation. I was in an NPC corp once and lost my fair share of ships to this exact thing. Yeah, i used to get mad. I joined an alliance.
Oh, and by all means, hire TRS. I would look forward to an extended war with them. They're great fun to PvP with.

Its your money, but if you try to put 200M on the head of everyone who shoots noob corp shuttle pilots in 0.0, you're going to be iskless pretty quick. 95% of newbie corp pilots in 0.0 are alt spies. 4.99% are actual newbs who get a quick lesson then go home to get stronger. The rest is you.
It makes more sense to me though, that you are just posting with an alt that you went and got blown up so that you would have a plausable reason not to have to reveal your main's name to any merc corps.

Just because you chat to someone in local doesn't mean they won't shoot you. Fact of the matter is that alts in newbie corps are used to scout, and on top of that you were in a shuttle. ANYONE would have shot at you.
And then of course, there's the fact that whenever you go below 0.5 you accept the fact that you might get shot, and you deal with it. Dealing with it is exactly what you are doing, though I fail to see how the loss of a shuttle justifies paying a mercenary corp to declare on the people who shot you.
But hey, it's your money.

Well when i was norad... back in the day lol.... Or a few months ago, we were not aloud to kill newb corps in syndicate, as it is not CLAIMED as NORAD.... also... if we could they had to be super noob, and no long time newb corp person.
Norad and FA shoot other who are not newb's or enemys but anyone really they are pirates with that carebear image.
