I'm currently looking for a Retriever that isnt being sold by NPCs but by players.
And is being sold at a reasonable price. As most people prolly missed; NPCs are selling them at twice their mineral costs.
I'm sure theres players out there willing who want to undercut npcs by 50% and still keep 50% profit on their sales? 
Same goes for Strip Miners, though im not sure those BPOS are on the market?

Would that be half the actuall price or half the npc price?

u wouldn`t sell your tritanium for 0.75 or your megacyte for 2550. tell the productionguys why they should sell cheaper ?
u do agents ? do u sell the T2 stuff for recycling prices ? the tradegood rewards for NPC prices ?
if people cant pay the actual market prices, get the money and buy it later ...

Do you pay 200 mill for a MEgathron? 3 Mill isk for a Piece of Trit? 15 for a Thorax?
IF NPCs are set up to scam people then you simply find a player that sells for a normal price, which im sure there are

Why don't you just build it or have someone from your corp once you get the minerals? Plus you also forgot to add the price for the BPC and the factory slot that is required to build the thing. Also, why could I sell you a ship at cost ? Why would anyone build things in this case?

given it is a 900 mil bpo, and annoying as sin to get, the markup really isnt that hard to swallow. Now modulated strip miner II's, thats a funny story. 4 mil build price, 25 mil asking price, and they dont come with the veld crystal.

otherwise, save money to get it,
doesn`t matter what the material costs re.
