Live events only happen ccp wants or probably has time and it's probably very low on the priority list , it would be better if at least a few[1] live events would occur within a given time range and at predefined days during the week.
[1] - not all of them , most still need to occur randomly otherwise it would become dull and boring.

I like the random aspect of the Live Events and I think they should remain random .. I mean otherwise just run a mission. Probably what I would like to see is it to be more frequent though. .. I've only been involved in 1 Live Event. .. my 0.02 ISK

Sounds like a good idea to have a "main plot" more accessible for pilots, but I think the schedule could be a pain, after all there are lots of timezones in the outside world.

I like the events being random, but if there was something in the news to let us know that there would be an increse or decrese in sansha activity would be nice.
Waiting for an incursion for weeks on end with no event can make panda sad.

Agreed, the live events channel has basically lost all usefulness.
Here's my suggestion:
How about we test out those new Jita upgrades? Have a Sansha wormhole materialize infront of station 4-4.
It'll be a win-win situation for CCP.
They either prove the upgrades "work as intended," have increased involvement into "live events," and have a glorious battle with incalculatable chaos OR simply have Jita be "destroyed" and blame it on the Sanshas

I too, like 95% of the people who turn up to these things, would like a shiny carrier killmail for practically no effort and no risk whatsoever.
Bonus points if the carriers have the potential to drop priceless mods like they have done previously that don't even exist in the game - e.g. T2 Capital Shield Transporters.

I think LiveEvents would benefit from seeming to have some form of structure to them as opposed to being excessively random. Are the Sansha truly invading, are certain assaults merely fients to make the way for more concentrated assaults against other systems? Any way to have victims take appear in the storyline later as pilots of ships? Maybe lose a remote imperial system or two to Sansha occupiers. Otherwise they simply seem like blob missions.
