II. I want to see the warfare system modified for low sec. ItÆs low sec, and thus we should not have to pay 50, 100M, 150M ISK (and so on and so forth) for a war VS another low sec Alliance. I want to be able to fight someone without dropping my sec status into the basement after only a few days. I want there to be no limit to how many low sec wardecs that I can have open at any given time, and I want the fee to Concord to be much less. DonÆt crwy Empire carebearsà I would not want this to Effect empire. You will still be safe \0/ III. If I go into belts and kill rats for the local police, why doesnÆt that earn their favor? If I had their favor, perhaps they would allow me to anchor (not Cyno Jammers) but ôCyno distortersö something that would cause a delay when massive alliances want to OMGWTF blob my limited capital fleet that cannot be funded by R64Æs. You know, kind of like how WHÆs have a delay when you pass through them twice? If less capitals could enter a Cyno Distorted system at one time (and no Death Rays or Fighter Bombers could be used) suddenly a low sec based alliance might have a fighting chance. These are just some out of the box ideas I would like to see popping up in this thread. Flame on.

I just took a totally unfitted Crane through low sec, fully expecting to lose it, but no-one so much as targeted me. I wonder how much of this ascairedness is in the mind only. Also, I fully support the OPs idea of free wardecs in lowsec, this old Privateer misses having billions of active wardecs.

Being at the receving end of a sc hotdrop onto a small fleet of battleships attacking a pos, simply because they were bored, wasn't even their pos, is crazy overkill. they are for 0.0 and should stay there!

The only thing I care about in low sec is the safety of my cyno alts.

Very convenient. Or what?

Finding a way to limit fighter bombers in low sec would definitely even things up. Not so sure about the war dec option though, since that would make things quite a bit more like null sec, i.e. inties on gates etc. making travel a lot more dangerous for non flashies. Reducing GCC timers would make my day, since it would mean not having to sit around bored out of my mind for 15 minutes after every fight when I'm soloing in a frig. It would also encourage more people to use small ships so we'd all have more targets. Getting rid of the whole poisoned logistics thing would be great as well, you can do nano shield gangs with a couple of scimitars, but those scimitar pilots end up paying too hefty a price to enable everyone else to have their fun. Also it would be nice if gate guns didn't insta smaller drones. On the carebear side it might be interesting if anoms / sigs despawned when people entered them so that unprobeable ships would feel a lot safer, buff the number of sites and it would attract more people to low sec. Once people are in low sec and making some isk they're far more likely to get involved in a bit PvP as they'll understand their environment far better.

Veto Corp	Posted - 2010.09.01 22:34:00 - [22] they really should split the four empires so they have no highsec connections between them. if you would only be able get certain minerals in big enough quantities in different empires, then you would actually have to smuggle between all the 4 empires to build a simple ship. near the bordering systems, market hubs would grow. trading would actually make you a lot more money, as long as you could move the goods.
