I'm wondering about how to fit an Archon for general low-sec PvP. By low-sec PvP I don't mean solo or cynoing into everybody all day long everyday. If things go south and there's a larger gang killing some friends, you undock the carrier and it'll be ready for most things to do a quick assist.
Here's a fitting I've been working out with some feedback. I went from single repper with resists to dual repper to be able to tank a few ships for a small while, if the carrier should become primary.
[Archon, PvP] Damage Control II Imperial Navy Energized Adaptive Nano Membrane Imperial Navy Energized Adaptive Nano Membrane Capital Armor Repairer I Capital Armor Repairer I Capacitor Power Relay II Capacitor Power Relay II
Cap Recharger II Cap Recharger II Sensor Booster II, Scan Resolution ECCM - Radar II
Large 'Notos' Explosive Charge I Heavy Energy Neutralizer II Heavy Energy Neutralizer II Capital Remote Armor Repair System I Capital Remote Armor Repair System I
Large Capacitor Control Circuit I Large Capacitor Control Circuit I Large Capacitor Control Circuit I
Remember this is not for fighting moms or anything like that. I'm not going to use this for EVERY situation - if I know I have other carriers to back me up or logis I'll fit for resists and more RR and energy transfers.
Please post some feedback and some fits, and tell me why those fits would be better.

well if you are going to do station games and use it like a logi, I may advise cap boosters instead of cap rechargers. They will give you a better boost. You won't need cap for long, go for more hardeners. Basically you will undock and change the course of fight, then dock back in. Never aggro on anything or get out of docking range, else you will get bumped webbed and die. Since you will be hugging the station, you don't need smartbombs as you can't activate them anyway.

Well of course won't I be fitting the SB when doing docking games, and I'd fit for a more logi role. But how do you think this fit will do if I get cynod into the heat (low sec fw area). Means it will mostly be smaller stuff and will be some time until they will figure out that they need to pull out the neuting BS.

you need the sb in every condition... remove the eccm already have high sensor str. use another cap recharger, remove 1 cpr, get another eanm... it will do fine

If you are there for RR, wouldn't it make sense to fit a Triage Mod? Triage/2 RCAR's/1 CETA/1 SB in highs, imo. Leave the neuting to sub cap ships, lol.
Oh and inb4 someone hot drops you with a few SCs.

Caldari FW = loads of ECM.
SB = smartbomb sebo = sensor booster
Don't mix the two up. And as previously said, if it's for logistics only I'll swap fitting for that. it's kind of hard to get a straight answer if this will work for the usual all-around pvp where you jump in to suicide or w/e
