Edited by: Aessoroz on 02/09/2010 02:09:40 tl;dr CCP needs to use the mother****ing reinforcement timers to allocate systems on hubs more properly then the current bull****(which they caused because of the massive blob fest required to take down the ihubs, tcus, sbus, and everything else). The system pretty much in final reinforcement which should have triggered a massive "O **** LETS REINFORCE" warning, especially considering a large blob reinforced it in the first place.

Originally by: Mara Rinn There should be an automated process of moving systems to dedicated nodes the moment an SBU is anchored, and perhaps timers should be adjusted to suit.
BAD BAD BAD BAD BAD BAD BAD BAD IDEA.
Let's just say there are some of us who like to troll via dropping sbus and tcus when a wormhole opens up. :D Is it a valid tactic? Why yes it is as our enemies have to waste time and money to take them down.

And in the meanwhile you can use the fleetfight form to improve things. Of course you can also choose to not notify them and keep waiting until the improvements made it into the game.
So the fact that 24 hours before the large fight, a large blob reinforced the ihub into the final reinforcement was not an indicator of big fight to come? What kind of statistics does CCP use to allocate systems to nodes? The amount of miners and mission runners?

Originally by: Charles Baker I have one thing to say in reference to this lag,
Just because you can bring 600 ships to a fight, doesnt mean you have to.
Seriously guys 9/10 times lag is caused because you guys are devoid of any tactical thought which goes above "Bring more ships than the other guy" While this may be CCP's fault for favouring mechanics which require blobbing tactics its certainly every 0.0 alliances fault for following these simplistic tactics instead of demanding changes to the SoV and fleet mechanics to favour less concentration of forces. And FYI this is also the fault of symetrical force buildup, 100 ships against 100 ships in a straight up shoot out will take just aslong to duke it out as 300 against 300, the only change is the ammount of lag you suffer while doing so.
What? It's because we have 600 players willing and wanting to fight, they aren't forced to come, they want to.
