Frustrating fights these past few days.
They seriously could have been fun and epic. Our opponents have been bringing it to the table as have we.
It's so upsetting flying logistics and seeing the broadcast, locking the target just to see "target is invulnerable" 3 minutes later.
Then, locking a target, getting reps on it just to have to wait 3 more minutes to unlock it.
"Come on Logi rep these guys"
"We would if we could get a lock on them"
There has got to be something you, CCP, can do to alleviate some of the load on these servers during fleet engagements.
All of the alliances involved in Pure Blind want to enjoy the game and have fun in the Sandbox you've created but the frustrations echoed aren't of spies, aren't of losing ships and aren't of losing space... it's because it's impossible to fight for it.
You can fit 250 in a fleet, in theory the game should at least support 500 in a system duking it out. At least give us this number. Right now, 50 vs. 50 is rough.

If you see a spike on your servers happening in a system which has a reinforcement timer, there should be some code you can run to reboot the node and reinforce it. This seems like something pretty easy to automate.
From here, there can be a basic standings check and put everyone with similar standings on once side of the solar system in dead space upon login, and the other fleet on the other side of space.

I don't blame you guys for taking off. It was pretty bad.
The CCP guy above said there was just under 600 in system when it started, but you guys didn't hang out long and frankly, I wish I would have followed but leaving my coalition behind seemed like a bad idea.
When the engagement actually started, there was about 600, you guys were around 150 and took off so they're taking the peak load.
Jita can do 1600 and this is with all that concord stuff going... get combat at least to 250 vs. 250...
