1. This is not a rant
2. My findings were pretty hilarious.
So I'm there in a 0.4 system where a few Pirates hang out constantly. these guys have -9.9 sec status, they also have some nice tips to there name, 85 mil bounty and 65 mil bounty. I decide to check out there killboard to see what the crack is.
I'm there on one of the guys and I see the "solo kills" button so of course I wanna see this "dangerous pirates" solo efforts and heres what made me lol
Kill upon kill upon kill of frigates with a damn Hyperion, talk about overkill
Is this dude trying to compensate for his small twig and giggle-berries? I think so...
All of his decent kills are made in fleets, His actual solo kills are absolute rubbish apart from one where he killed a BC in a cruiser I thought that was a decent effort.
Now is this true for most low/null sec players? Most people with really decent skills, [decent being defined as not less than T2] and some savvy would be able to fight these people and have no fear about being slaughtered like there reputation says. Possibly winning..
Its amazes me the rep these sort of guys n gals have, As in don't even try to fight them because I think Its Bull manure.
They're only proper hard in a fleet where numbers matter.
I'm not a troll I'm just a guy in this game who thinks most mercs and low/null dwellers are not as tough as they think they are

I noticed in your long posts that nowhere you mention killing the pirate in question!
Is this because and to paraphrase, you have a small twig and giggle-berries?

A lot of people talk really big and most of them have to real clue, funny thing is that the less they know the bigger their mouth seems to be. On the other hand, the fact that he gets small kills in his BS doesn't mean he doesn't know what he's doing, not necessarily. There is no "omg lulz u used a biggar ship hahaha lolz roflcopter ur so bad at this gaem!", He flies a BS and people die to him, no more and no less.

I think you'll find that most low/null sec combat pilots are dangerous because of two things that most (but not all) Empire bound characters lack.
1: Attitude.
2: The ability to effectively as a team.
Since you apparently equal genital size with imaginary spaceship combat skills, how many solo kills do YOU have? Once you tell us that we will know far more than we wish to about your genitalia.

Pirates soloing against someone that pvp's?
Lol i dont think so.
Granted im sure there is a pirate out there that would im sure. Even then its only even brought up to try to get the target to fight. On top of that the victim still only had a .05% chance the mean pirate will actually honor(lol) his word.

Oh, if only that were true.
If i wasn't an animal lover there's so many little dogs i would have just drove right over when they started chasing my car, barking at my engine block frantically.
Big dogs only leave the porch for something worthwhile. They don't feel they have to prove anything to my engine.
This is now a dog thread.

P much true for most low sec pirates. Piracy is about making isk threw pvp, not realy about exceling in pvp. You wont find many low sec pirates who are good at pvp out there, just like you wont find many good pilots in the best PVP ALLIANCES. This is the same for all corporation and allainces in eve dude.

Low sec or 0.0 pilots are the same ******s as high sec ones, on average. If anything you tend to find more experience/actual knowledge in low sec. Most 0.0 players are just as clueless as people who only run missions on Motsu.

Your analysis is biased.
EVE is all about the number of players and it dominates over skill and gear. No solo pirate will survive low-sec in a frigate regardless of how much yarr the pirate is capable of, because pirates shoot each other if there is no one else. Frigates are cheap and least efficient for PvP and so they explode the most. --

Did I kill said pirate? No I didn't because 2 others undocked :)
This post is in no reference to my meat bananas - AWESOME metaphor there shadow btw.
My OP was simply stating that pirates are mercs are only as good as they are because they're in a fleet. Take the fleet away and they're not as hard.

No Destroyers are way more likely to detonate than Frigs.
To the OP, The targets don't want to die. This means you kill them in whatever you happen to have been flying when they present an opportunity. Since a low sec pirate has to plan to take sentry fire and the fire from whatever trap that little frig is the bait for a BC is pretty light.
Having said that you are clearly clueless on pvp, low sec and piracy in general, why don't you fit a frig and ask the nice men for some education, engage on a station or gate, with friends, I promise you they are used to it and you will still die.

You, Sir, are an idjit. First things first, mercs are not even remotely close to pirates. Why don't you learn a thing or two about a thing or two before you go being a disphit*.
