If there is a thread about this, pls point me to it and ill wipe this one.
Was there a reason double clicking on a planet to warp you there was removed? I found it a very handy feature. I however dont find it too handy when doing a deadspace mission to wait 5-8 seconds for the menu to come up to select a planet to warp to if i get into a spot of bother. I have nearly lost my ferox twice doing this, both times warping away in structure instead of armour then annoying the neighbours outside the station with the god aweful noise of my hull repairer =))
I, for one, would like this feature bringing back. Seems with the current issues of this game it would cause a lot less petitions for you guys if the situation described above actually caused a lost ship due to a bug.
Pop a yes or no for this feature so i can see other peoples views and opinions on it. ---

yes i hate the fact you cant click on roids. doesnt effect me as much as most i imagine because i havent mined for a while but on the odd chance i do i find it very frustrating. nice touch with the increased range on scanners tho... ---

maybe if we make enough noise in here about wanting it back they will bring it back. they are fixing consentual wars because enough people wanted it, lets see if we can get this back.
as for the left click menu, i hated it being on left click so i moved it to middle mouse. left click was annoying as hell when it came to swinging the camera. another annoying feature no one asked for =P ---

agreed and until this option is fixed i think the double click to warp away in a pod is needed desperately. for those pirates who are in mind of the devs making pod killing easier, maybe if you increase the chance of getting implants on agent missions so they drop in price again, people would be less scared to get podded. but i cant see this happening. i think warping to a planet to escape getting podded is a good idea. the enemy knows which planet you warp to and if its a large ganking group (which it usually is) they should be organised enough to send one pilot to each planet so all planets are covered. this way the pod has to work to stay alive, i nice game of cat and mouse is half the fun of PVP. then the whole scout drone thing will come into play for finding pods at safespots. let the podding continue according to skill, not if the other guy's menu doesnt show up before you lock them. ---

Originally by: lythos miralbar please please please get rid of that menu that pops up when your mouse hovers oversomething.
I find it really annoying when you undock from a station and want to warp to a belt. if that belt is behind you you have to fly away from the station before warping to it or you get tangled up in the station. The trouble is, even though your clicking in space, cos your so close to the station it just keeps brining that damm menu thing up.. grrrrrr
go into the options and change it to middle mouse button and it does infact disappear. the middle mouse button selection is bugged for me so now it doesnt work at all. this is one bug i hope never gets fixed =) ---

Originally by: GlimmerMan I'm undecided on this issue. On the one hand if I'm not quite fully awake and need to escape quickly because I've not been paying attention the way the battle is progressing, double-click warp is handy. On the other hand it'd be a pain in the arse if you're trying to change your ship's direction by double-clicking space and accidently do it on an object.
There are lots of other ways to escape quickish, e.g. set a bookmark to another system, get in trouble, turn on auto-pilot and warp out to the stargate with a single click! OK you won't get out as fast as if you selected the object nearest to being in front of you for quicker alignment, but if you leave it so late that those 2 seconds make a difference to your survival you need to learn to read the battle better and get out sooner if it's going to turn sour for you.
in reply to the first paragraph, you were only able to double click gate, station and planet icons to warp to them. i never ever had a problem avoiding double clicking them by mistake.
in reply to the second paragraph, out in 0.0, setting your auto pilot to drag you to a gate at 15km isnt the best way to escape, infact its a damn good way to get you killed! there is little arguement for this subject. we, the community, want this feature back! ---
