http://wiki.eveonline.com/en/wiki/Security_Status#How_to_get_above_5.0_Security_Status
I completed both missions for those 'special' Concord Agents and was quite surprised at the results. Evelopedia stated that a security status increase is gained but failed to mention anything about derived standings, both positive and negative, being incurred for completing those missions.
I spoke to another player who happened to be doing those missions around the same time I was and he also was going by the Evelopedia page. We then compared our standings results after completion and noticed they were almost the same.
I have decided to share the results with everyone because 'Knowledge Is Power' which is the reason for this thread.
Concord Agent Missions:
(1) Christer Fuglesang - Concord Agent = Level 2 Quality 0 Location = Autaris 8 Moon 5 in Station (Caldari space) Mission = Song Of Birds Security Status increase = 6.756 % on 8-25-2010 @ 07:35
(2) Jeremy Tacs - Concord Agent = Level 2 Quality 20 Location = Mandoo System at Celestial Agent Beacon (Amarr space) Mission = A Worthy Task Security Status increase = 10.9375 % on 8-26-2010 @ 08:13
Security Status: Before Missions = +5.00 After mission (1) = +5.35 After mission (2) = +5.85
Social Skills:
Social = level 5 Connections = level 5 Fast Talk = level 5 Negotiation = level 4 Diplomacy = level 4
Connections level 5 gives me positive standing with 13 of 20 Factions. 6 Factions incurred positive standing gain. No Faction Standing loss incurred.
Faction Standing gained:
Ammatar Mandate = (1) 0.7822 % (2) 1.2535 % Concord Assembly = (1) 2.7024 % (2) 4.375 % Gallente Federation = (1) 0.5979 % (2) 0.9601 % Khanid Kingdom = (1) 0.1492 % ORE = (1) 1.0168 % (2) 1.6239 % The InterBus = (1) 2.8339 % (2) 4.4019 %
Connections level 5 gives me positive standing with 97 Corporations. 1 Corporation incurred positive standing gain. 19 Corporations incurred negative standing hits.
Corporation Standing gained:
Concord Bureau = (1) 6.756 % (2) 10.9375 %
Corporation Standing loss:
Caldari Provisions = (1) -0.0334 % (2) -0.0541 % Center For Advanced Studies = (1) -0.4287 % (2) -0.6917 % Deep Core Mining = (1) -0.03 % (2) -0.0486 % Federal Navy Academy = (1) -0.8804 % (2) -1.4155 % Hedion University = (1) -0.0819 % (2) -0.1325 % Imperial Academy = (1) -0.5857 % (2) -0.9437 % Imperial Shipment = (1) -0.0084 % (2) -0.0137 % Modern Finances = (1) -0.0367 % (2) -0.0594 % Pator Tech School = (1) -0.2354 % (2) -0.3804 % Republic Military School = (1) -1.0305 % (2) -1.6542 % Republic University = (1) -0.1373 % (2) -0.222 % Royal Amarr Institute = (1) -0.3353 % (2) -0.5415 % School Of Applied Knowledge = (1) -0.3971 % (2) -0.6408 % Science And Trade Institute = (1) -0.1539 % (2) -0.2489 % Sebiestor Tribe = (1) -0.0558 % (2) -0.0903 % State War Academy = (1) -2.1005 % (2) -3.3418 % The Scope = (1) -0.0345 % (2) -0.0559 % University Of Caille = (1) -0.2785 % (2) -0.449 % Viziam = (1) -0.0432 % (2) -0.0699 %
Concord Assembly Faction Standing:
Base = +0.70 Modified = +2.56
Concord Bureau Corporation Standing:
Base = +5.85 Modified = +6.68
I hope this information helps. I'm surprised at the amount of corporations that took negative standings hit from those 2 concord missions.

It requires minimum 5.0 security status and access to Amarr high security space. This mission is an important storyline mission and will affect your faction standings. There are also small derived standing losses with several Empire NPC corporations associated with this mission.

Yeah, I advised Evias Acik to include that while he was creating that mission page. He is the other player I refer to in my original post and we had both already completed those 2 Concord missions.
Bottom line: We both were going from the information that was listed in the Evelopedia page that is linked in my original post which doesn't include that little bit of important information.

Edited by: Ankh on 17/09/2010 08:29:39 Useful to know... one question:
Was there any faction loss after running these missions?
Thanks

Slightly off topic...
Can first mission be done solo in a t1? Fuglesang suggests bringing friends. I don't have any :(
How many rats are we talking about in the mission?
Thanks.

The 'Song of Birds' mission can be easily completed solo with a good fit up and high skill level.
The NPC's will spawn about 50km away after you attack the drone succubus structure. There's plenty of time to destroy it and then warp out if wanted.
I decided to kill all the NPC's which come in waves. About 5 waves with 6 NPC's per wave. The last NPC drops a hardwiring implant.
I used a T2 rigged Rifter fitted with T2, Named and Deadspace modules. Passive shield tank, Afterburner, AC's and Rocket Launcher.
