I used 5x Meta 4 250mm railguns on my Myrmidon back when I actually flew one (still have it sitting around a hangar somewhere). Blasters suck for PvE due to having to get in range. Anything that is in range is usually too small to hit.

True enough. I'm not too worried about efficient. I've seen my friends fly drakes. They're effiecient.... and boring as hell.
A drake is not an efficient mission runner... Safe and easy yes, efficient no.
Lets see, a drake costs fifty million fitted and can make 35 mil an hour not counting LP.
Elite mission ships are 2 billion and can make double what a drake can.

I think it would be helpful for all of us if you could clarify how you came up with those numbers? I'm guessing since you mentioned LP you are getting 30m an hour doing lvl 4's in a drake? Thanks.

Nope he said 35 mill an hour not including lp in a drake which is of course complete bull puckey. Drakes just do not have the dps to pull this off. DOmi/ishtar/raven etc can all do better then this as they can project higher dps over longer ranges.

Not unrealistic at all with 460dps.
I tried it in the myrmidon today, took a little bit over an hour. With the Drake however you can salvage as you go. My DPS/Tank was 330/378.
When you say "fanboi" try to picture a fat man doing burlesque with 2 big ass fans that say CCP on one and HTFU on the other. Because that dude is me. |

I can do that in under 30 minutes with a ship that costs under 100 million isk fully fitted. Also when people give isk an hour you do not include salvage normally. If I did my ishtar in gurista sanctums would be over 80 mill an hour sustained. Also when doing isk an hour you should include transit times as well as time to sell your loot.

pulling 40M an hour including salvage in an ishtar in gurista sanctums is already pushing it.
