Use t2 sentry's and fit some omni directional tracking links in your mid slots, add in some BCU's in the low's, not to well versed for the rest in how a Rattlesnake is 'suppost' to be fit but you don't need anything more than a 500 DPS mission specific tank for lvl4's, and that's a high estimate. Invest as much of your fitting into increasing damage with the minimum tank you need for missions.

Gitar Kelviren	Posted - 2010.09.17 13:52:00 - [8] Well if you're not going to put Omni Links on it you should at least put in a group of Bouncer sentry drones or something, to at least give you some instant hitting dps on targets that are far off. It's going to be REALLY slow work sending your Ogres around, so if you're dead set on Ogres, then maybe put some drone navs in the med slots, it really makes a difference.

To put it somewhat into numbers, let's assume to feel more or less comfortable in any L4 situation you need somewhat 600-700 omnitank So, start with removing 1 Purger rig and put 1 sentry damage rig for start. Then try to remove 1 middle slot and put in 1 drone omnidirectional track. Then, fix the tank accordingly and see what you got. --- Improving my day by ruining yours

Sure it will work and you will not die and you will clear 2 missions an hour, most people like to clear 4 plus. My drone only ishtar and Domi get 550dps... My t2 fitted PvE domi puts out 900dps... Or your drone skills blow... Your getting at most 150 dps from your turrets... I cut my teeth in level 4's in a Typhoon, which is vastly cheaper to lose. In addition to being vastly overtanked, you are not using sentry drones. The PRIMARY damage platform for the Rattlesnake is sentry drones, the secondary is missiles. Garde IIs will murder any battleship at any range, cruisers at 10km and out, and frigates if they are low transversal. They can still hit orbiting destroyers at 20km. As you can see, heavies are pointless, as anything your sentry drones can't hit will be very close, and better handled with light and medium scout drones. Garde IIs are good out to 45km, outside of that I use either Curator IIs, Warden IIs or Bouncer IIs, depending on what damage type I wish to do. Here is my setup. I'll use T1 modules as I don't know what your skills/ISK situation is. Lows: Shield Power Relay Shield Power Relay Shield Power Relay Shield Power Relay Ballistic Control System Ballistic Control System (the missiles on a Rattlesnake aren't bonused for damage, so a third BCS isn't that useful) Mediums: Target Painter Invulnerability Field Mission Specific Hardener or Resistance Amp Mission Specific Hardener or Resistance Amp Omnidirectional Link Omnidirectional Link Large Shield Extender (you can go with 3x omnidirectionals, but since the target painter helps with missiles, I prefer this setup) Highs: Cruise Missile Launcher Cruise Missile Launcher Cruise Missile Launcher Cruise Missile Launcher Drone Link Augmentor Drone Link Augmentor Rigs: Large Core Field Defense Purger Large Core Field Defense Purger Large Core Field Defense Purger Drones: 5x Mission Specific Light Scout Drone II 5x Mission Specific Medium Scout Drone II 5x Mission Specific Sentry Drone II 5x Garde IIs

All of this and way way cheaper to fit then what you are doing.
