Ok, nice but what will be the use of it? If it is anything like the Primus (which I couldn't get rid of fast enough) it is severely going to lack many things, like functionality.

If you read the skill bonuses from that picture the Noctis is the dedicated salvager ship that will be coming.

I'm a dedicated PVPer, and I find that the less time I have to spend grinding the more time I have to shoot someone.

Mothership(s)? Haven't heard anything about this, I saw the salvager this morning and heard about that player designed ship a week ago or so, but haven't heard anything about more motherships...?

Sansha's new ship, people are speculation it will be a new design!

And? It may be a good savager, and I may break down and get one, but it is useless overall. A savager is nice for fleet ops, but who in their right mind is going to use one on solo missions? Most ships fitted correctly can put a savager on and you can salvage as you kill.

àwhich means you'll definitely be useful for you if you're actually interested in getting salvage. ùùù ôIf you're not willing to fight for what you have in ≡v≡à you don't deserve it, and you will lose it.ö ù Karath Piki |

Ok then lets put it in these terms. That single unbonused salvager is going to take ages to loot the field as you slowboat to each wreck after you kill it. Or you could use the uber bonused noctis with its long range mega speed tractors along with a faster cycle on the salvagers along with free rig slots to fill with salvage tackle rigs to do it in a tiny fraction of the time. Also wtb a mission fit harb that can actually store all the loot from a normal mission. ZOMG!!! |

Only reason it's a good idea is they'd lose skillpoints when they pop!

My interest.
So how can we use it to destroy carebears? Or bait them?
Maybe Cap boosters and neuts and let the npc's do the rest.
In the end we will find a way

Probably by parking your chosen ninja salvaging ship next to the Noctis, letting its tractors pull in the wrecks and trying to catch all of the salvage they miss on their first cycle. --

Perhaps, if you don't have your salvage skills up to 5 that is... which you need anyway when you are living in a WH...

Smartbombs
Given the relatively good capacitor recharge rate on that thing. I wouldn't be surprised if a fair number them end up being fitting with smartbombs. I suppose it depends on what the ship ends up costing.

Got a link to this new ship? Or to the roleplaying story where it is suggested? --- This doesn't even seem to be a regular case of rats fleeing the sinking ship. Seems more like the rats are on fire, the ship is on fire, and the sea is full of drunk Russians. - Jacob Etienne |
