Well said. However, harrassing people who get upset over internet pixels in order to make them more upset is not well-adjusted either.
Regardless, you are right. Best advice to mission runners is keep a cool head, don't get wound up about it and move on, ideally somewhere ninja free.

I disagree. Whether an activity impedes your daily life or not does not mean you are well adjusted.

I agree. Which is why people shouldn't get het up about it.
Furthermore, none of the professions in and of themselves, in my view, is inherently griefing. Griefing requires the intent to go out and deliberately provoke a particular negative reaction.

OK, most of us do actually. In fact, I think 90% of the EVE community laughs at Local whinging. I don't think it's griefing since, in most instances, we're looking for a kill, or series of kills, or our efforts are clearly profit-driven. Often, we want your nice shiny mods and goading you into shooting is just part of the game. It is incredibly rare for someone in SN to go after someone with the intent of repeated harassment.

If this could be pasted onto billboards floating in space in the mission running hubs in game as a piece of useful advice to mission runners, then it should be.
I hold fast to the view that only a tiny % of the EvE playerbase are the genuinely mentally abnormal individuals who use online gaming media as a mechanism to harass other people, purely for the fun of doing so. The rest of us are just playing the game and are not, intentionally, out to cause anyone distress.

It's not so much the corps you run for as the systems you run in. It won't help if you're missioning mainly in caldari space anyway, as thats pretty busy space. I imagine ninja salvagers don't have to work too hard in most of the busy mission running systems to find a target.
