I was grinding missions in low-sec for a few days trying to gains enough standing so I can access a (lvl-4)level-18 agent in hi-sec.
Low-sec mission running is hard because you are constantly looking over your shoulder. Anyway, it took 3 days and lost one ship in the process.
Finally made it and got friendly with the agent in hi-sec.
Now, I'm so burnt from the mission running marathon that I don't feel like doing any more.
Time for a few-days break I guess.

Edited by: de v on 23/09/2010 14:22:36 I forgot to have breakfast this morning cos I overslept. I also blinked a few times a minute for the most of the day, with blinking increasing when I went outside.
Of course, this isn't near as exciting as how long it took me to cross a busy road earlier or the taxi driver who should have known where the local soccer pitch is lol. But hey I'm sure you don't want to hear about that...

I take it you have no interest in what your fellow Eve players are up to.
The OP's story may not be the most interesting thing to happen in Eve, but it is his story and as such is important to him.
I would rather have one post like this than all the boring one liner meme posts that these boards are usually full of.

Odd that the goal of running missions is to get enough Isk so you don't have to do missions any longer. As I invested the income into market trading the process accelerated, and it was a good break from talking to agents.
I also looted and salvaged all wrecks, an attendant grind to running the missions, and couldn't see leaving all that Isk on the battlefield. In lo-sec that's not very practical, as you just want to get out with your mission ship intact.
After a time away from running missions you lose that edge, tho. I lost an assault ship to NPC's running a minor complex last night. I was so used to having BS size tanks I just sat stupified trying to warp out while my shields, armor, and hull went red in seconds.
Never thought I'd have to relearn how to fly frigates.

Thanks, I appreciate the comment. Mission running in low-sec is tough, so I felt like sharing my adventure. I found it ironic though that I was shooting for a goal that once I got, was too burned out to use.
