Hi Guys
I have a fair amount or Concord LP hanging and I am trying to think of ways to spend it. One that came to mind was buying stuff from the ORE LP store for my mining alt. The only problem is I don't want to do a crazy suicide run through Null only to find that Concord LP does not convert to ORE LP.
any one in that area that can confirm whether Concord LP can be converted. I know it does not work with Pirate LP stores so the same might very well apply.

The easiest and best way - convert Concord LP into ISK's, and then buy in Jita market everything you need for your alt. |

Ore Stripe miners are like 500mil at the moment but you can get them for 45k LP and 30mil ISK so its much cheaper to buy them yourself. My guess is either you cant convert LP or all of the people running Inc are to fearful of null.

There should be an exchange system in place; I didn't have too much trouble sneaking a blank jump clone in an Ibis up to the Outer Ring ORE stations (well, OK, I did get slagged once, but strategic positioning of medical clones during the run made it a lot less painful), so if I've got a couple of days, I could jump up to an ORE station and check.

No need to be an ass. It's a decent idea. He didn't have the exact answer you were looking for, but at least he tried to help somewhat. Give the guy a break. |

It converts at 10 concord lp per 4 faction lp, same as any other npc null faction. Triple rep Myrms are like what you'd get if you strapped a beehive to Robocop. |

Sorry, having was a bad day, super hungry at the time.
At the time I mean to say "useful comment" (sarcasm intended) but I guess my crazy hunger made me be a bit more direct.
any way looks like I will grab a MWD frig and head that way one day soon. |

lol I read it as genuinely trying to help and it not being a bad idea. If no-one answered you and you were unable to find out from this forum, SiSi might well have been the best way to check for yourself without risk of losing anything on TQ no?

I found it not too difficult in a blank clone in a noobship around downtime - that was my second run; the first run got cut off when I hit a warp bubble at one of the gates and got slagged and podded. Check the DOTLAN maps; I think the most effective route may be starting from Orvolle in Placid, heading through Syndicate into the Outer Ring (your best bet as a destination is probably system 4C-B7X, with ORE stations as well as a Chemal Tech station with a med-clone facility). Along the way, you'll find NPC stations with med-clone facilities where you can temporarily set up a medical clone, so you won't have to fully retrace your steps if you get jumped. |

if you start in orvolle, next system is pf- which is nullsec, so the gate will very likely be bubbled to death. best bet is to start in stacmon and go to lowsec, and go from there, upgrading jc when you can |

Made it to the station in one piece . 2 second align time and 4800M/s does help :). now I just have to get out.
That being said I had forgotten that Strip miners 1s are 100m3 so I could only take one. Anyway all of my gate safes are setup so I might take a nano indy in later
PS Very sorry about my response to the quote below. I just reread it, for some reason when I first read it I though he said "you should not get an answer to this question" as in go away you lazy bum - My bad.

Nano indy would be a bad idea. Use something cloaky. If nothing else, use a stealth bomber and cargo mods....easy-ish to train for if you haven't already. Triple rep Myrms are like what you'd get if you strapped a beehive to Robocop. |

I can't really fly any cloaky ships, what I ended up doing was getting a Sigil, a couple of Stabs and loads of Nanos + low friction rigs and a T1 Cloak. I put a load of Strip Miner 1 in the cargo along with a Malediction and mods. I am about 5 days from a Transport ship but I have a fair bit of ISK so I was game for losing a Sigil and 50mil of loot.
Made it all the way through 15 null sec jumps with only 10% shield damage. was pretty close though, I jumped through a gate with about 7-10 people on it that had just finished a battle, luckily only 2 jumped through with me and they only got 1 scram on me so my stabs saved the day.
Made it to the station converted the strip miners and ran back with the Malediction as the Ore Strip Miners are only 5M3 and the cargo was now 5Bil rather than 50mil so I was not game for another run in the Sigil. On the way back I went through the same area that had that battle from earlier and managed to score 5X Warrior IIs and 3X Hammerhead IIs (still loads of other drone on the field but no space left).
All around a total success , partly thanks to you guys (used Marc Callan/nahjustwarpin route ideas) with a slight divert through cloud ring around some of the hotter areas and I came away with a battle story as well :), Null sec Noobs cant even catch a Sigil. |
