All you needed to do to detect the scam was check Darius III's completed courier deliveries. A ****load of them from various hub systems TO P3G8 (or whatever the null system is called).
Darius: you messed up by delivering the courier contracts on your main. Should've had the "scam" you shared on one alt, and this thread's scam (you delivering the "scam" contracts yourself) on another alt. Maybe throw a few "failed" contracts on your main just to keep the believability going.

So the results are in: I scammed 1 *(One)* legitimate hauler, and about 120 *(One Hundred and Twenty)* fail scammers. I personally delivered 80 + courier countracts for average 20 M isk per, and only one guy fell for the fake scam for 175 M isk. We have however-killed 30 + guys trying to complete them.
Hope everyone had fun, will post some sceenies / tears when I have time later. Thanks for playing and have fun D3

I spotted the thread and lold, i thought 'wth i'll have a gamble on this too' see if i slipped any contracts past darius and his guys. First contact i made was for 175m collateral and i forget the reward. I noticed it was a guy in a noob corp with no histroy that looked connected to brick. 20 minutes later he realises what it was and bites the bullet and fails the contract, easiest cash ever.
So im up 175mil and with it being so easy i descided to press my bet, i made a few more contracts spending 100mil on rewards and i waited. All contracts are accepted and think SWEET, i looked at who my client was and it was darius,D'OH,
Sweet scam from darius here. Like all gamblers i got greedy, but at least i ended up with profit and a smile

Well I must say i'm definitely glad Darius came up with this.
On my toon Xebyn I had just started courier contract running for small cargo in an atron and did a few successfully and easily. So accepted one of these scam contracts not knowing better or looking at it in more detail. Flew on over to the destination and found myself in a bit of a bind ('cause yeah, you can't dock ;P ) so had to warp to high-sec and contacted Darius here who obviously knew what was going on and helped me counter-scam to fulfill the contract. After alls said and done it was a pretty easy 25mil. Took about 30 minutes total and I have good man darius here to thank. So thanks and great idea.

Bit late, but here is older screenie of some successes. Delivered these under a few different toons. All told probablly 1,500 M isk made. Not a lot of isk - but 95% of it is isk made from scammers, and scammers isk is worth double or triple regular isk IMO.
