Edited by: Sturmwolke on 26/09/2010 02:30:42 I'm been trawling the *cough* .. fringes .. *cough* digesting several interesting articles .... so I found this one that I think is good for a share. It talks about a new form of non-destructive cancer treatment (so far as modern medicine goes) with high success rates over the standard radiation therapy. Worth a check out.
"...his gene-targeted cancer medicines he discovered in the 1970's called Antineoplastons, which have currently completed Phase II FDA-supervised clinical trials in 2009 and could begin the final phase of testing in 2010ùbarring the ability to raise the required $150 million to fund them.
When Antineoplastons are approved, it will mark the first time in history a single scientist, not a pharmaceutical company, will hold the exclusive patent and distribution rights on a paradigm-shifting medical breakthrough. "

P.S There are a few articles at the above ATS forum that touches on natural alternative therapies for cancer, but I don't think the average people will find it easy to understand the concepts behind them. There are a lot of crackpot schemes out there and distinguishing what's sane will be hard, imo.

Well, read the articles in the first link under "Understanding The Opposition" and the FAQ to gain some ideas on the background. Then make up your own mind whether it's plausible or an outright quackery. No problem either way.
Tbh, the ATS site is really irrelevant. I just added the link if readers wanted to check some of the videos. |

I always (or most times) say please and thank you. It is automatic for me. It goes to show that you appreciate their efforts and that you don't expect them to be servile to you.
I also open doors for the lady folk. I know, a dying breed.

Well, living in the strange land of the SCAMS and haven for all kind of illegal ventures, called Panama, the Beautiful Lady of Destruction by some, I must say that this is the only country that has this "gene therapy" to cure cancer, parkinson, alzheimer and many many more diseases of the flesh. These treatments have been banned already in several latinamerican countries, but here, due to law being so lax, it still thrives. A couple of months ago the "doctor" that gave these "gene" therapies to cure cancer was expelled from Costa Rica and relocated squarely here in Panama.
If it works or not, it's beyond the issue here, I remember the guy in brazil that "cured" cancer patients with carbonates and people said the evilness of world wide lizardmen richmen from Bilderberg decided to destroy his research to keep the population in check.
So honestly, if you believe in all that, Panama has a nice gene therapy clinic, I can arrange your pickups at Tocumen International Airport and your lodgings in nice hotels, plus small tours of the City and beyond plus a nice stay at a Turist Farm a couple hours from here for your relaxation needs, all of this of course for a modest fee. You can contact me ingame and we can discuss the price.
I'm fully bilingual in english-spanish and can show you around if you want to make this into a more solid venture. Im your contact in Panama. ---

Just another shyster who offers the uneducated false hope.
Not one single independent entity has been able to reproduce his findings. This includes pharmaceutical companies and academic researchers. Burzynski has fallen for the classic scientific trap, falling in love with his ideas. When someone questions his findings, he just digs his heels in deeper.
Its an easy thing for scientists to do and probably has much to do with human nature. Ive even seen biotech startups fail because the founder couldnt believe the work they had done in their lab back at the university couldnt be reproduced.

With my limited understanding how most cancer works, a gene therapy would actually be concievable since it's basically a bunch of cells that go crazy and multiply out of control. I believe current thought is something along the line of introducing a particular protien signals extreme growth or some crap like that from cells that are "broken" in their genetic code to some degree. It's been a while since I took bio 122, so I could just be full of ****.
