Edited by: LeviUK on 01/01/2005 19:16:06 I've been around Fountain and Delve regions for a while now and played with the spawns there and am fairly used to the stuff they drop but I was just wondering what rats haunt the other regions and what do they commonly drop?
i.e.
Fountain: Serpentis (Gallente shiptypes - kinetic and thermal damage) - BS drop 350mm and 425mm railguns and large named blasters. - Other common drops are armor hardeners, armor repairers (plus remote), large hybrid ammo, cap chargers, large smartbombs
Delve: Blood Raiders (Amarr shiptypes - mainly EM/thermal damage) - BS drop heavy launchers (strangely, even the geddons drop these), the odd large laser (named don't seem to appear as often as the ones the Serps drop), cap booster charges and Heavy Nosferatus and Neutralizers. - Other common drops are small/medium lasers, shield hardeners, laser crystals.
Is there a list like this elsewhere? Or if not, any chance those in the know could share some info on the other rats? I'm mainly curious as to where most of the named gear comes from but I've also heard conflicting reports such as Curse where I've been told Guristas reside by one person and Angel rats by another.

Gurista drop shueld stuff and launchers as well as railguns. Angels drop projectile stuff and speed-related modules alot. Sansha's also drop lasers and armor stuff.
think of the race the NPC is of and what modules would be typical of that race (minmatar=speed and projectiles for example).
A while back some regions were bugged and spawned multiple races of npc's for a while. I've never seen that happen in Curse and always have only seen angels there. But for example some systems in the north spawned bloods as well as gurista for a while, but it seems to have been fixed now.
Actually was fun as well as annoying. Getting a 3 BS blood harbinger spawn on your nuts when loaded for guristas could be annoying at times. _______________________________________________

Heh, can see that being a problem.. so is there really any difference at all in the Sanshas and the Bloods given that both are based on the amarr ships?

Don;t know em well but afaik there's a reasonble difference in their ship characteristics as well as the loot they drop. _______________________________________________

visually, there is a huge difference, sansha's have custom, spiky ships, bloods have amarr scrapheaps other thn that, not a whole hell of a lot of difference both use very few missiles, and lasers

Angels suck really bad. They are the hardest to tank (all 4 types of damage). They give crappy loot (shield rechargers, cap flux etc) all the time. The only good loot they give is named siege launchers and maybe once every 100 BS you kill, a named 1400mm or Xlarge Shield boost. They don't drop nosferatu or energy neutraliser like Sanshas do.
