Don't hold grudges in games mate, its not real is it? If you can't take your medicine better off in Kitty.
If someone betrays you and rips you off or worse; chalk it up as you being a poor judge of character and/or a poor leader/recruiter. One of the main things everyone in EvE has to accept is that people are, fundamentally, untrustworthy. That doesn't rule out ever trusting them. It just means you should expect the worse at all times and, for the most part, you can only ever then be pleasantly surprised.

I have a long blacklist excel sheet called "A**hats in EvE". It serves me well when doing "business" with ppl one might never heard of.
When interacting with others in eve, you have a good chance to be betrayed. With this list it wonŠt happen twice (or even wonŠt happen as this char is known).
On the other side, if someone poppes my ship he usually doesŠnt make it on that list, as most of the time (100%) it was my foult. Well, i once was mad when losing my ishtar to a blaster brutix, but again, i might not be the brightest light in pvp.
That said, one can make it on the list for beeing a dou***bag in local calling one names or even worse, just to prevent me for further activities when such an idividual shows up.
At least itŠs a game.

The person at the keyboard (me) never gets upset about anything that happens in game. Because it is just a game.
The character never forgives or forgets.
Anything done within the rules of the game is NOT griefing. Get over it. |

In late 2004 i had a go in eve with another char. Joined a corp but after 4 months the acused me of stealing and refining loot. I had no idea what was going on, but soon after two of them began to hunt me and kill me all the time.
After this i joined another corp, but they war decked them and kept hunting me. I ended up making this char and biomassed the other one(Simply gave up, but they stil are printet in my mind.
I have been tracking the two that startet all that junk against me. An alt are placed, and all i have to do now, is to effect my plan. The longer i wait the bigger my revenge will be...
Is above stupid, ya it might be in RL(dont hold grudges in RL, life is to short for that) , but in eve i hold a grudge....internetspaceshiprage....And it have been a huuuge motivator....

people forget that having a grudge in a game where you lie, cheat, steal, kill, betray, and do other morally reprehensible things is actually what makes this game flow?
dude, if someone shoots you, you shoot back. preferently with 10x more DAKKA.
