 CCP, I want to just take this moment to thank you for not letting me down in my faith in your incompetence. There are few companies that reach such magnificent heights of overestimation in their own capabilities.
P.S. I am REALLY looking forward to the Incarna patching process. A week away from eve will do me the world of good.

To be fair, they honestly do almost always underestimate patching and the extended downtime. It's no biggy for us; just put a longish skill in the queue. But you would think that they would have learned from their own mistakes by now. They don't however, which is pretty hilarious in itself and speaks volumes about their vaunted work processes. I've recently been wondering what other companies think of CCP when they get on their band stand and make presentations about Agile development etc and compare to the company's actual real performance.

We are still finalizing and doing additional testing. We expect to have Tranquility up by 19:00 UTC

Dearest Adida, enquiring minds want to know: Do you feel like a right idiot having to repeatedly post how incapable your own company is at estimating patch times, every single time there's an extended downtime, and if so, have you considered looking for employment elsewhere?
