Here's why I'm incredibly bothered by what's happened with this patch:
1. You have a MASS TEST server where ALL of this could be tested before being implemented in production. I saw NO mention of this being tested on Singularity. NO OTHER MMO that I know of has this option.
2. Based on what you've listed as the "Contents" of the Patch, the WORST problem that should happen is the stacking Windows issue or a bug with PI or MAC clients having problems. I have NO clue how the "Contents" of the patch could cause ALL these other non-related issues.
3. With SO MANY problems reported ALREADY, I'm afraid to try ANYTHING new in-game. It may almost be safer to create an alt and start from scratch and see how many bugs I find. The tutorial agents could be screwed up for all we know.
A similar thing happened with Bioware's Dragon Age Origins game, and they did NOTHING about it for FOUR MONTHS. I stopped playing the game and refused to buy any expansions or try playing it again even though they FINALLY fixed most of the bugs. The next patch did NOT fix everything and caused other buga.
At this point, I would STRONGLY RECOMMEND to CCP that this patch be REVERSED immediately and some company organizational changes take place so THIS DOESN'T HAPPEN AGAIN.

Other items are just not to buy despite matching their prerequisits. I can't buy stuff which costs me more than 15.000 LP, despite having about 60.000 LP in the shop mentioned above.

1. overview shows objects from other solar systems such as 2 stars (1 local and 1 from previous system, same goes for gates and stations) see Broken overview and Broken overview 2
2. windows wont stay stacked - gets very annoying when running missions and i have to target rats the overview and object selection windows wont stay stacked.
3. blue corp stars
4. scanner makes wierd sound
5. guns dont fire when clicked on unless u hit it at exactly the right spot
6. guns wont reload when u drag ammo onto them
7. dragging objects into corp hangar sections that are currently not the active one results in the object being dropped in the active section.
8. modules sponteanously overload for no reason when activated

Do anyone still play eve ??? (or will renew their subscriptions unless this is immediatly fixed?)
As eve is now courtesy of CCP wonderfull (Translation:Fvucked up) patch that did Jack 5hit to improve player experience (a book could be written to the contary);it is totally unplayable,unless you just want to sit in station spinning your ship!
atm its not worth $1 a month but as im in u.k. (who is not part of eu single currency) have to pay in ú that then gets converted to euros (Bank carges for this conversion) costs british players $25 equivelent per month.
So to get back to point,idk about anyone else but unless this fixed (without any more wonderfull (see above for translation) my subscription stays cancelled as it was last night.

Don't complain - CCP had shut off (intentionally?) most of the mac users because we can't download our patch (actually we can download but this is a 2.95gb file each time with different md5 sum - go figure...)
They don't care - the mac forum is dead only people who are posting that download of the patch does not work while CCP is slient.
This is disgusting - I do not like the attitude of blizzard but (and this is a very huge but) they can provide a patch WHICH IS INSTALLABLE - even for macs which seems to be a unbloved step child.

omg, my scan probe control is completely borked. Moves inconsistant speeds (crawling, crawling, crawling, zoom!) Moves in opposite direction of mouse movement!

This has been "tested" (more precisely - seen, as this is impossible to test client with such bugs in front of you all the time) on Singularity for well over a month.

Oh and my local chat window doesn't save it's size, though saves it's position. To be more specific, I usually resize it to minimal width, and after I restart my client it is back to default width again.

When you "give money", the old default value of 0,1 ISK has been replaced with 0,10 ISK. However, only the 0,1 part of the 0,10 is marked, so when you are accustomed to just type in a new number to overwrite the default, you will now always end up with an additional zero.
I can only imagine how much grief this must have caused since yesterday, realizing you just sent someone 80 billions instead of 8. Go figure.

After downtime clicking on my occator's microwarpdrive to activate it does nothing. This worked after patch and before downtime.

When getting an escalation, no popup for the fleet member who got it.
mission timers seems to be messed up. i had 10 hours left to do it in (Dread Guristas Fleet Staging Post)
i went to the system 6 jumps away and the entry in my journal now say's expired wtf...

Found another.
Switching subsystems on my tengu keeps offlining the shield booster. A couple of times the only way its allowed me to online it is by docking again.

OK this is part 2: I got nowhere with the problem I had right after DLing the patch where the client wouldn't load. SO... I uninstalled the client and tried to reinstall. It wont even reinstall now. I get a notice saying "Archive Extraction Failed: CANCELLED. Click here to Download Manually. And when I do that it still won't install. it tells me to DL manually again. This is the EVE Online Setup Wizard popup box.
What is going ON? When can I expect this to be fixed? Is there going to be some reimbursement for lost gametime? I'm thinking I should cancel my subscriptions before they renew so I don't get charged for a game I can't play. I need to get in and set skills that are run out - Are we going to be reimbursed some skilltime? I filed a petition but there's dead silence. No answers.

If you read up you will see I (and I know a good number of others) are having the same problem. I really don't think it's a client-side issue. My petition and bug report has also gone unanswered/unresponded. At least I can hope they have even viewed the bug report...
Hilariously one of my friends who has had virtually no issues with this patch, has had more than three GM responses to a minor issue with a particular mission since the patch went live.

Have now scanned the last 470+ threads (is this a record ?) and can say that the problems I am getting have all been brought up by other people.
I make my living by Auditing and Developing a companies Quality Management System to improve their accuracy, efficiency profitability and CUSTOMER PERCEPTION
This is just a quick note to let CCP know I am available at normal daily consultancy rates, should they feel the need to take advantage of this service. I would suggest they take advantage of my offer as accuracy, efficiency and CUSTOMER PERCEPTION certainly need considerable improvement. I would also anticipate profitability to be an issue in the future if current performance is not significantly improved.
Judging by the latest comments your response to bug reports and petitions is also seriously flawed.(read non existant)
Should CCP wish to take up this offer please contact me ingame.

Wallet journal and transaction entries from the past 2 days disappear as soon as I hit 'load' on either tab. Closing and re-opening the wallet temporarily restores the lists to their proper dates.

I managed to lock the SAME frigate twice lol. Killed one of them, but his ghost is in deep structure and I cant finish him off. Cant fire or unlock said ghost.
I know we're only on page 16 but I'm gonna call it now...

I find it kinda ironic that they continued with the patching process when this so called CRITICAL CLIENT ISSUE was discovered during deployment. Why do that as you can't predict what else is going to get broken.
My main question would be, Why wasn't this issue found prior to deployment... does CCP not test this stuff out prior to deployment on Tranquility.
Sounds like you need to improve you QA processes.

This workaround does not help. Windows/lists resize and realign at intervals regardless of pinned status.
The wreck window is always front center, fix sized (so contents are not visible), and does not stack. This is one of the more important programing 101 fixes needed.
As others stated; LP stores have been broken. This is universal and a game breaker for some (not a biggie for me but some folks are really ticked)
Many, many, other UI problems are being discovered as the day goes on. Too many to number at this point. Bugs, missing items, misplaced menus, objects resized to default after resized by user, UI objects moved to upper left corner after moved to preferred screen position, double entries, and more. These are in every aspect of the game.
The user interface is what connects the players to the game. By breaking this you have made it so that interaction with the game is currently impossible or frustrating to the point of questioning 'What Are We Paying For?'
Bottom line: I have to say this is broken to a degree that the current UI makes windows 3.1.1 look highly advanced in comparative abilities. I dunno about anyone else but If I give someone money to entertain me, and it does not do that, why am I paying money to CCP when I can pay someone else for something better?

Docking and switching out to a different mwd fixed this.
But then my cloak wouldn't turn off (cloaking device II icon went red but never actually turned off). Preventing warping...
