Evanova is an Android application allowing you to view pilots, corporations, skills and many other Eve Online info. The application supports small devices and tablets. It's pretty, it's unlocked, it's coming with a nice update very soon. Install it from the Android Market and follow up on what's coming or provide feedback, comments or pats in the back on the Evanova blog. Important notice: The current version does not support the new API Keys. This change is coming with the next version of Evanova. Keep your good auld API keys around!

Any modification (such as adding a skill in the skill queue) has to happen either within the game or using Eve Gate. Although I would love to integrate this kind of features, it's a limitation from Eve Online and nothing much can be done about it. Cheers Evanova

Yes I usually receive those but don't always go through since they are very few coming in and are usually the same error (usually happening at startup). In the pilot list, a long press on one of the pilots should show a full blown dialog menu with the following options: -- View Pilot -- View Corporation -- Reload Pilot -- Remove Pilot <-- The option you want Do you not get this menu at all? Is there anything happening while long-pressing those entries? Then, in the Pilot View (where pilots info and the scrollable icon menu are), when you click the Menu button of your device, a menu should display with the following options -- Wallpaper -- Background -- Reload Pilot -- Remove Pilot <-- The option you want -- Settings (The menu button is indicated by 4 lines vertically stacked on most Android devices, usually on the left of the Home button) If you can't access those menus for some reason, I am really not sure....Press ahem harder? :D Let me know how you fare. There a few optimisations that have been done for the next release regarding the API usage and some of the display, and I can see one area where it can be better, but the later at the expense of making widgets more useless than they already are. Otherwise, there is no background service running when you are not using Evanova so if it hasn't been destroyed by Android itself, you can safely kill it at any time.

I must be doing it wrong :) No, you are doing it right :) The buttons on the corp view stay greyed out because those are "Coming Soon(tm)" features, "Soon" probably being when Steam stops selling me cool games at prices I cannot resist and I stop procrastinating on polishing up the next version mainly because of that. Hopefully those buttons will light up in the next version. Talking about Corps, I do not have enough test data (my test corp is a 2 members corp...) and would really appreciate if anyone could give me a (pretty much full) corp key or even a few ones with various masks so I can do some more testing. This bad excuse brought to you by the Ever Procrastinating Department of Procrastinators.

Pinked 0	Posted - 2012.01.08 13:38:00 - [19] - Quote just loaded the app on my moto droid one and all functions work with the exception of the "coming soon" features. how ever i too am unable to view my assets or messages in, in, out, corp, or other. also market orders is not shown. while i am here i would also like to promote, like an app commenter stated, the only thing i can see to make this any better then it already is is a skill planner and ship fitter. thumbs up on the app and keep it up. aura app is having issues. now is the time to pull ahead =)

Hi Syzygium I have an older version installed, but the market won't let me update to the latest version and most apk-files for evanova that are found by Google are also old versions. I have a rooted phone (Nexus One with Cyanogen) and have no problem downloading Evanova from the market. The application was unlocked for all Android installs (1.6+) a long while ago. I am little reluctant to put APK files here and there as it would be difficult for me to track versions and such. Can you provide me with your device and Android details? Fly safe Evanova

I apologize for the looong silence, I owe everyone a little update. Thanks for asking! I had to slow down development the last two months for personal reasons, but I'm back into it full force. I am currently polishing off the UI for the new features (mostly on the corp side) and adapt Evanova for Android 4.0 (I just got a Galaxy Nexus to test on). There are some quirks with 4.0 that needed to be addressed and modifications to Evanova to integrate with it better. For those reasons, the tablet version is taking more time and holding back the small devices update, to the point where I might consider a non-tablet version update only in last resort. Trying to accommodate ALL the devices is pretty challenging and requires a lot of testing. There are also some difficulties regarding corporation assets vs what the Eve Online API provides, which makes the Corporation Assets screen very sad to see. I also want to rethink the skill planning UI. I don't like how it is at the moment. On the coding side, I took some time to write a Eve API proxy server for my testing, made so that it is easier and faster to build Evanova and the item database, cleaned up a lot of the Eve API code and added support for the Eve Central API (for future enhancements...). I am thinking of having the proxy and the Eve/EveCentral API code available as an open-source project, but I just don't have time to manage all those aspects plus work on Evanova. That's a lot of work for a single pilot! :D On the bright side, Evanova has been accepted on the Amazon Market last week, so hopefully Evanova should show up on Kindle Fire soon. I am definitely interested in more API keys to test again. Feel free to send a QR Code or keys at [email protected]. Fly safe! So when is this next version I keep on talking about and postponing is going to come? I am done feature wise and currently in the process of overdoing the polish (thanks ICS, I had to repolish the polish). The tablet side still needs some adjustments though. I was hoping to release it next week, but I want to take a bit more time. I am also thinking of postponing the (polishing of) Skill planning and dropping widgets (they just aren't useful as they are now), depending on the time I have. It should in all theory not interfere with your current Evanova application and hopefully add many promised/wanted features for you to try, although it may be subject to more frequent updates and breakages. Be advise that, although this version can be installed on large screen devices (tablets mostly), large screen devices are not yet supported and Evanova won't work properly with those. Please report any crash, error, feedback or comments on this forum, through Evanova's blog, in-game mail to 'Evanova Android' or e-mail Update notes and others can be found on the Google Play site. I sincerly hope you will enjoy this upcoming version!

Thanks to all who reported issues, helped with providing API keys for testing and other things. PS: I am still looking for a graphic designer ;-)
