Hello Everyone - I'm busy outfitting my omen for Level 2 missions. I only have 1.7 mil skill points at present so I lack most level 5 skills for getting lots of grid/Cpu. What do you think of the following setup:
Lows Slots:
Capacitor Power Relay II
Energized Adaptive Nano Membrane I
Energized Adaptive Nano Membrane I
Damage Control II
Medium Armor Repairer II
Medium Slots:
10MN Afterburner I
Cap Recharger II - Should I swap this for webber ?
Cap Recharger II
High Slots:
Focused Medium Beam Laser I, Infrared M
Focused Medium Beam Laser I, Infrared M
Focused Medium Beam Laser I, Infrared M
Focused Medium Beam Laser I, Infrared M
Focused Medium Beam Laser I, Infrared M - how much damage do I lose if i Swap for salvager ?
[Medium Ancillary Current Router I]
[Medium Capacitor Control Circuit I]
[empty rig slot]
Is this workable or doomed to failure ? Bear in mind I don't have very high fitting skills yet please. I just want to do level 2 missions for money.

My first guess would be to change the Omen for a Maller.
And perhaps Pulse instead of Beams for easier fitting and better tracking... since lvl 2 missions are frigate heavy.
Other option is to for drones and try the Arbitrator.
And if you go really cheesy: Crosstrain for Caldari Cruiser and Standard Missiles and bufferfit an assault launcher Caracal.

You'll be better off with the mission specific active hardeners (e.g. N-Type Explosive Hardener). Also, for a character of your age, the base range of the medium beam lasers is not very much worth not using heavy pulses. Also, if you feel secure, trade the damage control for a heat sink.
See if you can fit it that way without the ACR. Additional capacitor will do good for you if not already cap stable.
Web could be, but I'd rather go with a tracking computer, because then you don't need to put it on every damn frigate rat. It's a matter of preference, I guess.
As for salvaging a level 2 - the loot certainly isn't worth losing a gun, that's just too much DPS for you.

Well If I wanted a maller, caracal or Arbitrator fit I would have asked for one 
Any other suggestions at all ?

Thanks - I'll definately Try out the tracking computer instead and try and chuck a heatsink on.

As previously stated, drop the Adaptive membranes for mission/rat specific tank. I've learned in PvE to drop the DCU II from my fits. I'd suggest dropping it and add a heat sink to increase your damage output. And fill that last rig slot too. Might let you drop the 2nd Cap Recharger and put in the tracking mod.
Also, the Omen has 15m3 drone space. So, get three light combat or utility drones to suit your taste.
