Are the "beards" the suspicious stains I see on the chins of some of the avatars pics posted here? The first thing I thought when I saw that was that "the boss of that brown noser must have left in a hurry to leave those skidmarks on his face".

Umm, yeah... that particular one does look a bit painted on on a hindsight (no pun intended). There are couple similar, others with more volume. I guess the one I selected tries to imitate tightly packed stubble, unfortunately the beards are layers and if you rotate the character to a certain angle you can see the different layers on top of each other. Similar to the one Brutor male "release the beast within"-version where you can see the layers on the side of his cheeks. -------------------------------------------------

Instead of looking like actual hair on a persons face, all the beards look like the color brown was painted on the face and then a little fuzz effect was added to it. I think it looks all the worse, since the hair is done so much better, so there is a sharp contrast there that you can't help but compare it to.

I sincerely believe and hope that the current iteration is just that, a placeholder for further development. Another "problem" is also that the color schemes are very different between hair and beard. Hard to get convincing color coordinated results or rather, natural looking characters. I'm sure it will get better, it has to. -------------------------------------------------

Or in INCARNA where LoD removes most of the fine details. With most faces, even with people spending a lot of time on them, not much more attractive than the current portraits and will be monstrosities once those who don't care get at the sliders. Can I have an opt-out option CCP? I promise to never walk around in stations if that's what it takes.

For overbite you can extend/shorten the upper/lower lip a bit in side view. Also it might help once in a while to extend the mouth/jaw area to extremes with lips extended and the work backwards until you have your desired effect. Underbite generally produces unappealing appearance (the lower front teeth are in front of the top teeth). I've noticed that it takes only a very small change in the overall appearence. Change 5 things only slightly and the "person" looks like another person. I really like how the Brutor female face can be adjusted, but it's really hard to get the same appearence twice in a row. Takes easily an hour or two to tweak the face just right. You need to rotate the face and adjust from different angles. One annoying bit is that sometimes when you try to tweak only slighty the transformation jumps more than you wanted and your back trying to figure out where you were initially. -------------------------------------------------
