The constant whinge of those that want THIS game to be some other, different game, is beginning to wear thin.
If you want microtransactions, go invent a game that has them. If you can't get that accomplished, STFU.
This game represents the intellectual property of CCP. Public votes on what a company should do with their product? LOL, yeah right. You think that ANY retail company from any industry lets their R&D be driven by public votes? That would be a surefire way to ruin any product, by driving it to the lowest common denominator. You think your opinions represent both the majority of the players (BTW, you aren't a stockholder, or if you are, you certainly are not a majority stockholder), but you really are quite wrong on that.
No, it really is this simple: If you like the game, play it. If you don't like it, stop.

I'm really looking forward to Microtransactions. I've already started thinking up way's that I can re-spec all my characters, and the more I think about it-- the more excited I get! So yeah, CCP ain't getting a whinefest from this subscriber that's for dam sure.

Are you on *******? If CCP didn't want them, they wouldn't be working on implementing them. As for the player base, you =/= the player base. If it keeps them where they are able to continue pumping the game to better levels, I'm all for whatever ship-glitter or other stupid things they put into a microtransaction store.
