New technologies, New ships, New starbases, New Dreamsà..
With the recent developments in the Eve universe with the availability of deployable starbases and the new ship variants combined with the improved mechanics of the universe means that the world of Eve has moved onto some interesting times indeed. So now is the time to sign up with the group of people who are going to take full advantage of these new possibilities. Interested? Read onà.
What is Hadean Drive Yards?
Hadean Drive Yards is one of the older corporations in the EVE universe. Its CEO, Michael ôOverkillö Carter, formed the corporation in early beta and has led the corporation to the forefront of the shipbuilding market. Although he is currently on sabbatical the corp is being able guided by Fleet Admiral Isuridae and his more than capable command staff. With over 1 year of registered trading on the EVE market Hadean Drive Yards is rapidly expanding its ability to supply ships to its cliental. HDY is proud to have a ship catalogue that includes all of the Industrial, Frigate, Cruiser and Battleship class vessels. Recently we have also added the Brutix Battlecruiser and Retriever Barge blueprints to our collection and will be available for purchase to the public soon after research.
Why join Hadean Drive Yards?
Hadean Drive Yards has one of the most unique and effective methods of running a corporation in the EVE universe. The structure of HDY is organized into a paramilitary format with the corporation being split into three divisions. The Executive (EXEC) division, the Logistics (LOG) division, and the Military (MIL) division are constantly working together to keep the corporation running at maximum efficiency. Within these divisions are subdivisions in which members are divided up into depending on their preferred mode of play in the EVE universe, their ability to play, and their dedication to the corporation. Perhaps most importantly, members are NOT promoted simply on the basis of length of service or who they know in the corporation.
Like the structure of HDY, the way members contribute to the corporation is also unique. Members contribute in the form of ISK from agent missions, NPC Pirate Bounties, Trading, and Ore mining from mining operations they participate in. In return HDY furnishes its members with anything and everything they need, be it ships, modules, skills, or implants. These items are requisitioned by members via an advanced database in the members section of our website. Hadean Drive Yards is NOT a corporation to join if you aspire to have vast personal wealth. However, HDY assures that its members are some of the best equipped and supported pilots in the EVE universe.
There are a wide variety of roles in Hadean Drive Yards and if you show you have the ability and dedication you will swiftly advance in its ranks. If you have any questions youÆd like answered please stop by our website at www.hadean.org. Also, you can visit us in game by joining the Shop@HDY channel in-game and chat to the members there to get a feeling for how the corporation works.
Okay, you have my attention. Where do I sign up?
Interested in what you have seen? Then click on the link to the application form below and fill it out. If your application is suitable, myself or one of my associates will contact you for an interview.
Please note that although we accept applications from players of all experience, we do require that applicants have a minimum of 1 months experience in EVE retail. The reason for this is that we like people to get a full feel of what EVE has to offer before making any career choices.

Of all the corps in EVE, Hadean Drive Yards are one of the elite few that have been around since the beginning. They are a great corp to fly with, supremely organised and very member focused. They also have an almost unnatural ability to perfect everything they do. A corp with the midas touch some would say.
If your not sure of a good corp to join, then you need not hesistate any further. HDY are perhaps the best out there!

Thanks for the kind words both of you.
As Laird says we do cover a large range of activities in HDY and are proud to keep this going with our long standing and just as important our newer members.
We may not have the same approach as a standard corp but this benefits the corp and makes it a bit more interesting i feel.
All i can say is read Laird post, read the site and speak to us on our forums or in game. After that if you to want to join then good luck with your application and to those who don't, thanks for reading and we hope to be doing business with you soon :)

Greetings (:
I think HDY looks like a fantastic well-organized corporation that I would enjoy being a part of. I've absorbed every part of the website (very well done, by the way..and I make em for a living so that should say something)
Are there any exceptions to the 30-day restriction on applicants to HDY? Any way to prove that my account is just days old? If there's any way that I can be considered, I would appreciate it, and will fill out an application immediately.
Thank you for your time.

The main reason we like to have players that have been on for at least a month is so they are familliar with "How do I warp to the station" and "Why is that m0o guy shooting me" before they join.
As a general rule of thumb someone that's been playing for about 30 days will understand the basic concepts of Eve and can slide right into daily operations of HDY with little trouble.
That being said, if you're that excited about HDY fill out an application and command will give it an honest review.
I always like to see recruits that are motivated about what we do.
If you have any other questions drop me an evemail or convo.

A very organized corporation, and dedicated to what they do. Everyone of them, (except Saal, but that's just me) is a fantastic HDY officer and knows thier stuff. Very serious players.
This is the corporation you want as an ally, and respect as a 'competetor'.

I'm coming up on my 1 year anniversary with HDY and I have to say I'm still loving it. Great, mature people. Great times. Outstanding organization.
As far as the corporation goes, things are really going well for HDY and we look to be starting strong this year already with the acquistion of the Catalyst, Coercer, Cormorant, and Thrasher Destroyer BPOÆs, the Brutix, Ferox, Cyclone, and Prophecy Battlecruiser BPOÆs, as well as, the Retriever Medium Barge BPO. With these the corp will continue to be profitable and continue to maintain it's position as one of leading suppliers of ships in the EVE universe.

As one of the "Old Guard" within HDY (I have been with them for 25 Months now, since joining HDY as a Cadet during Beta 5) I will give you my honest opinion of the men & women I have flown with in my time with this corp. From the day I received my notification that I was to have my interrog...er...Interview with Overkill himself (an interview which was more rigorous than ANY technical interview I have been on in my career in the "real World", mind you...one that lasted about 100 minutes), to the Free-wheeling days during the last phases of Beta, when Taggart TransDimensional Inc. reigned on high as one of the few "Megacorps", to the Wild-west days just after Retail, when people rushed out to the old Arkanor grounds, before the coming of the uber-pirates, Before Lord Zap & Stavros ruled Mara alongside their Masters of Ownage Corpmates (M0O, for those that are too young to remember), to the day Torfifrans the Jovian wandered into Empire space...throughout all the major ups and downs of the political and economic universe we choose to call home here within EVE, there has been one unswerving, unwavering constant: Hadean Drive Yards' single-minded pursuit of perfection in everything it does.
From the acquisition of BPO's of every Tech level I Ship, to the pefection of it's Mining operations into an Artform, a Ballet with Dekameter-long starships as it's principal dancers, to the unwavering courage of it's combat specialists, even in the face of overwhelming odds, Hadean has remained at the forefront of the Corporate Metaverse, providing those who pass through the unrelenting scrutiny of our HR Personnel (They're not called Interrog...er...interviews for nothing, you know ) with something more than a mere place to hang their pod at the end of a long day of "RL". No, it feels more like...Home. People from all points of the globe have come together to make this Corporation what it is today, and I for one would have it no other way.
I am Proud and Honored to wear the Eagle crest of HDY on my flightsuit...and I look forward to having you take a serious look at who we are and not only what we do...but how we do it. Stop by our sales channel in-game at "Shop@HDY", and get to know everyone there. Who knows? You may find yourself standing beside us on our long and continuous journey throughout Tranquility. And even if HDY is not for you, or you for it, we still would love to serve you as a valued and satisfied Client.

Laird works a lot in real life.
Try Evemailing Bandus, he's our HR guy.
Also, relax. You posted yesterday, not even 24 hours ago. We don't all hunch over the forums with our fingers on the refresh button waiting to see if someone has replied.
That's the reason for contacting someone in Human Resources, so they can schedule an interview.
And to answer your question, we are currently based in Querious.
Just be patient. If for some reason you feel that you can't wait for someone to get online to speak with you, then I wish you well and good luck in finding a corporation that fits.

Tired of being in a corp with no direction? Looking for comradery, and teamwork? Want to work with mature players that hold themselves and those they associate with to a higher standard of play? Then you owe it to yourself to at the very least check out our Website and find out more. We are a well established corp, active since early beta. We have positions available in all areas. From agent running and R&D to Manufacturing and Mining. Those more acclimated to combat can find a home in our military division who actively assist the Querious Defense Force to help keep our borders free of those who would harm us.
