Zed, have you considered getting a killboard of your own for IEEE? There's free KB services around (eve-kill.net and eve-tools.net spring to mind, there's probably plenty of others).
Reading individual kills from Battleclinic KB requires registration, and some of your casual readers don't have BC accounts.

Normally, yes..but this time I believe that I am going to inform every member of Intrepid Crossing that I run across and manage to kill, that their leadership does not want them in empire. And that I'm just doing the Intrepid Crossing leadership a favor.
To quote the alliance diplomat I had a short chat with: Quote: we dont have people that are in empire and if they are we kill them
I can't wait to see what happens to Orbital Mining Corporations in nullsec. I don't think they could handle the rats out there, much less any of the transient death squads.
But I would be concerned if I were a member of Intrepid Crossing, if they allow Orbital Mining Corporations into their alliance, who *else* do they have in there that is equally as...um...creative with their fitting skills and equally as skilled at protecting their assets. --

Personally, my favourite part was when our target announced in local that if Zedrik wanted a fight, they were in a certain belt.
Which they weren't in. The call-out fake-out - strategic genius, I'm telling you.
Apart from the bit where I found them in a different belt, of course.

The IEEE has heard this complaint more than once, so we have just told eve-kill about the IEEE's super seekrit api keys. Give it a couple hours and rejoyce in auto-updating there too. Or at least I hope that having the keys in both places doesn't kick it the wrong way and cause both of them to half-update. At which point we'll choose which one we want to have update auto-magically.
Edit: And welcome to Avarhyl and the rest of the new investigators in the IEEE. --

IRC may not be the most together alliance but honestly wardecs on a 0.0 alliance have two perspectives. For the aggressors you can catch out docile people who shouldn't be in high sec anyway and similarly from the alliances point of view it just helps them separate the wheat from the chaff.
I do hope you have fun during your 'investigation' however.

The IEEE has suffered its first loss. Mostly because I'd never been out to Cobalt Edge and decided to road trip it.
No blog post for this one.
I've been messing around with other stealth bombers lately. And discovered something very nice. The Manticore has an awful lot more cpu than my beloved Nemesis. So much so that I can fit it out cheaper. And being a frugal organization, this sounded like a good thing.
So a quick fit later...off to Cobalt Edge. Man, its a long way from Amarr.
First obstacle...getting past the camps just past Taisy. I had to wait a while until rats showed up on the gate and the pilots in their boredom moved the interdictors off the gate to go engage the rats. The way out is a horribly thin pipe and the last thing I needed was for them to jump and I get caught in an unlucky bubble.
Four or five system jumps, they are starting to anchor bubbles in my way...fortunately I have a sharp left hand turn in my planned route out which takes me off the autopilot pipe for a while and I lose the dictor pilot who was chasing me.
I'm closing in on the area, and hare off in a quasi random direction where I see pilots in space. Might get lucky. What I don't expect is to hop in and see a solo Charon just jumping past me. I turn and burn for the gate, hop through, and yup...there it is. Nobody expects the spanish inquisition. (Or, for a bomber to have a point) Hit the sucker up and start peeling it back...Wonder how far reinforcements are?
He's starting to hit stucture when local blips up. And here's where I should have bailed. But, I didn't hoping that spamming the scan and cloaking up before they arrive will be good... And that's when the rats spawn. And one of them decides that I'm a target (and targetted). As I'm trying to make good my escape, a stiletto shows up. Not...good.
I'm a quick dinner meal for it. And they oblige me by sending me back home so I don't have to dodge my way out in a pod.
This is where I should have logged, but instead I decide to head back towards Amarr from Dixie... and pass out in lowsec. Bad move...2 pods, 2 manticores. Maybe tomorrow will be better --

I'd put that fit down to noobishness instead of stupidity. You can kind of see what he was trying at achieve, but just didn't know the right way to go about it. At least it didn't have one of everything fit.
Frankly, I think you do these guys a service showing them what Eve is all about. Similar happened to me, was wardeced when I was a 2 week old noob and that's what got me hooked on Eve.

guy's heart's in the right place at least he's fighting, and not sitting in station.
thanks for picking up the blogs again, zed. sure c&p and us lurkers were waiting too long. those who haven't checked out ieee corp info can browse to the wiki for more elightenment.

Funnily enough, Joe Phoenix's solution to getting his 2-stab Itty III popped by my Onyx was to fit 3 stabs the next time I popped him, less than an hour later...
I guess "infinite" is a hard concept for some.
