From what I've seen and heard, this game has a long way to go before it's anywhere near completion.
Instanced gameplay does not appeal to the Eve player if they are looking for an Eveish experience.

Joe, please go play BP and stop posting on the EVE forums. Your kicking against EVE is childish, especially from the perspective of such a more casual game as BP, it think it will suit YOU a lot better than eve indeed.
What would the BP community think of someone who crashes their forum saying 'guys its all been done better 5 years ago, go play eve!'

This again? Really? Each and every time some 2D wow-in-space instanced-crap still-born sci-fi 'MMO' comes out, the eve forums fill up with drooling mongs like the OP claiming Eve to be dead.
Wasn't Star-lol-Trek-lol-Online supposed to kill Eve? Remind me, how did that work out?

The very second that trade window opened up in that trailer I too said to myself "omg, X ripoff"
However... when I continued watching the rest of it and saw the combat stuff I said to myself "oh.. this isn't even funny anymore"

I don't think people realize 99% of MMOs being released in the last 3 or 4 years are either vaporware or are horribly disapointing and ultimately flops.
The market is over saturated with crap, and really there isn't any excitement with new MMOs anymore. People just roll their eyes and go back to playing whatever they've invested the most time in over the last 6 or 7 years after their brief 3 month stint in whatever crap is new.
